It is beautiful a super moon. Isn't this full moon known as a pink moon? I believe I heard it described thus after a native Indian spring flower.

It looks like Gouda to me!πŸ˜‚ Must be a Dutch Moon.

Babybels are good for calcium as well. Different flavours. Said the cheese obsessed person......

Yes, it's a N American description, we keep hearing these but I'm sticking to our traditions, it's just a nice looking moon. 😊

It's a bit hazy here towards the East so it's no so clear. Venus is still standing out well though.

Niece has been helping Norfolk Scrub as a volunteer to cut out gowns for frontline NHS staff.  Today she received she received a 100 meters of material to cut up.  Luckily as she a seamstress and has her own studio at home she doesn’t have to mix with others.

Check and see, but you could always try somewhere else?  How about Booths?  Or a deli type shop?

Old Amsterdam, one of my all time favourites!

M, your photo looks more like an unwrapped Babybel, after a few drinks!πŸ˜‚

    Booths definitely sell Old AmsterdamπŸ‘

We went our shopping today and had to queue to get into Aldi, and then they were only permitting one person per trolley into the store, so being the gentlemen that I am I let my OH do the deed.....well she knew hat she wanted. I at least dashed round Iceland and fetched the dog food from Pets r Us. We then went for a walk down to Sandscale Haws and had an interesting conversation with a couple of the residents of the "Black Huts". They are hunkered down in splendid isolation, away from the madding crowds for the duration. Back home we planted up the Bizzie Lizzies and Begonias we got earlier today.

Saw they were asking for help. I'm considering but I'd rather see what arrived ready cut. That's a lot of material to handle! I've always cut out on the floor, not up to that these days 😯

Well done to her. I was alerted on social media by a wedding dress maker who's switched to making scrubs.

Don't really want to have to travel out of town to shop if at all possible, so Booths is out for the time being.

Hope all are getting on OK during our period of 'social distancing' or isolation.  We are certainly saving money on fuel at the moment - and I guess that this is the reason  for the drop in price - no-one is buying the stuff!!

I'm spending time producing audio files to help choir members learn music themselves at home!  We'll see how successful it is.....eventually.

I've also had the time to do some work on the garden - and we've had some good weather this week to help us along.  The biggest problem is that we now have bags of garden waste stacked up at the side of the house, and the green bin collections have been suspended for around 4 weeks!  Oh well, it'll still be there when they resume.

We tend to be managing on one shop a week, but even hate the thought of going as some folk are not very good at keeping the 2 metre distance, and. as they say, it takes two to tango!!!

On thing.... I've noticed that wildlife is making the best of the quiet roads and less folk about.

Oh well, we'll see what tomorrow brings.....

    David

Hard cheese....is good! Not that you'd want a parmesan sandwich, try a hard strong cheddar, just looked it up and it can provide 20% of daily calcium intake. smile

The organisation told Pauline that they could get plenty of people to sew but most were nervous of cutting so that’s where she came inβœ‚οΈ

Sad start to our day, today. Not only is it the day of the funeral of one of Ros's cousins, that she was very close to, but we have just been informed that her last remaining brother-in-law died about an hour ago.  Both were 'expected' in the sense that they both had long term illnesses, but it still comes as a terrible shock when it happens. Obviously, it's made worse by the fact that we can't go to either funeral to say goodbye and that must be even more awful for their respective wives.

Condolences richardandros. Very very hard times for all those mourning. Try to remember the happy times and the joy of having them in your life's. When this terrible situation is over get together and show each other your really care. Telling your nearest and dearest how you feel about them WHENEVER you get the opportunity has never been more important. πŸ’”

I knew it wouldn't be cutting out 1 or 2 πŸ˜‰. The thought of ruining that much material by cutting it wrong would be terrifying. Its years since I actually attempted anything with a dress pattern. Even scrubs have to be fit for purpose πŸ˜‚

Maybe they'll be back in touch if they have 'cutters' in our area.

Thanks WN. We dont have Sky  we have a Virgin Tivo box but I might still give it a go.

Bakers2, I havent yet investigated BBC sounds. Do you have to listen to it on your phone. I really am not tech savy embarassed

No milliehull you can sign up, just once, and use the app on any device, phone without headphones, unlike using the radio where they act as the aerial. Hark at that don't I sound tech savvy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I can assure you that's far from the case! But I do understand this bit πŸ˜‰.

I have the app on my tablet and my laptop too, well it was on the latter, it hasn't been out of its case for ages. I stay signed in on tablet and radio  so swopping between devices is easy. I actually have a bluetooth speaker that combines a light, very useful present from daughter as it allows a greater volume area, but you don't need anything other than your device.

On your device go to Google play store, don't know how to do it on Apple stuff 😯  search for BBC sounds and download, register and  log in and enjoy.

You can listen to any BBC station live and when the item you choose comes up in the left hand side there are circles, see that's tech πŸ˜‚, where you can click to subscribe, download (great if you're not going to be able to access wifi. Whoops first put the wifi on your phone embarassed). Subscribe or see more episodes. Not looked at it whilst I've been typing so hope I've got that right or near enough for you to make sense of it whilst trying!

Hope it helps, if it doesn't  ask again πŸ˜€ remember as I do it's the teacher not explaining the concept in a way you can understand πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Anyway I'm sure there are far more knowable folk on here than me πŸ˜‰

Edit we have virgin TiVo, never tried recording radio - assume the same as TV??  Now I feel I should go and try! When will my chores get done??.

Milliehull I've just tried recording radio on TiVo box. Exactly as as TV, you can set up series links too.

You can probably find radio on there to in a similar way to iplayer. I've turned it all off now but will investigate later, if I can get the control πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰. As the sun has come out and I intend to enjoy it while it lasts πŸ˜€πŸŒžπŸŒžπŸŒž

Edit our post crossed. I wish there was a personal contact as it's easier to explain than write, especially if its 2 way at the time! But I promise it usnt hard. If I can do it anyone can. I've had to learn as all the 'young brains' have left home!

2nd eit, as I always used to say to nervous members if the public  users of our searchroom  computer systems no one has broken it yet!
