I am deeply shocked at looking to go away for a few days only to find pitches are over £50 per night. This sort of charge will totally price many out of the club. I was only looking at a normal hard standing pitch, not serviced. I know running costs have gone up, but independent sites are not charging anything like this…
just seen on the club Facebook page where you can now reserve a pitch for a friend who is arriving later , that will get the blood pressure of some members up !!!
Just try rallying, you’ll be surprised. Great value CAMC Rallies across the uk …but never easy to find on the CAMC website. Always a warm welcome on a Notts Centre rally www.nottscentre.com
Got back from Fisher Field yesterday after a great weekend away. Downside is van is filthy bit that will have to wait, more important jollities to enjoy House more or less decorated although not bothering with outside
On a recent trip in the UK, the site had metered EHU (not a Club site). On arrival they said there was £3 per day included on the card and it would cost about £1 to £2 extra per night as per other users. we hook up and had £48 showing on the meter screen at about 4PM. The next morning at 7AM I checked and it said £36.70…
We checked our ferry booking details and found a letter had been missed off our car registration, we contacted the club and the lady my wife spoke to advised she would contact DFDS ferry company. She called us back and advised DFDS would update their system free of charge but the club would charge £20, loyalty for over…
My trusty 12v portable satalite system bought from Lidl in roughly 2008-9 has served me well but Skys change to only broadcasting HD channels means virtually all uk channels have gone from it. I have also had to throw 2 sky boxes and replace them with manhattens. Any idea of a 12v replacement? I don;t need a whole new…
What are the first three things you do once you've pitched up and set up at the campsite? Is it having a cuppa, going for a walk, exploring the campsite, or something totally unique? Mine are: Walk to the play park and/or the dog walk Explore the surroundings Put on the kettle

One of our favourite eateries here on the South Yorks/Derbyshire border is now offering overnight stops for Camper vans and MH’s. This topic has cropped up yet again on another forum I post on. Some owners of the Eriba caravans with a separate tank for the toilet flush are experiencing issues with pumps sieving. When they access the pump they find a build up of black slime/gunge is the cause. Once washed and cleaned they normally free up and are…
