It appears that a previous owner of our vehicle omitted to get a habitation service done in 2021 during COVID which is now resulting in our local Autotrail dealer being unable to register a claim for a water ingress problem we have! Has anyone got any advice to help us out of this difficult situation please.
Am due to holiday in France this coming June and see that there are restrictions on the GOV website about what you can bring back into the UK. But what about what you can take into the EU? Are all dairy products such as soya-based margarines and soya drink included or excluded? If included in the ban, we could be in for a…
Got back from Fisher Field yesterday after a great weekend away. Downside is van is filthy bit that will have to wait, more important jollities to enjoy House more or less decorated although not bothering with outside
Can anyone properly explain how my bringing in a pack of French cheese or a bottle of French milk or a slab of French pate in my motorhome fridge can pose any threat of foot and mouth disease in the UK?
I can't see the original sticky so will start a new thread. Saw nearly 30,000 knot on Breydon Water yesterday. Great weekend at Minsmere, Otter, Kingfishers, Bitterns, lots of Marsh Harriers
I am deeply shocked at looking to go away for a few days only to find pitches are over £50 per night. This sort of charge will totally price many out of the club. I was only looking at a normal hard standing pitch, not serviced. I know running costs have gone up, but independent sites are not charging anything like this…
It's official - us dog owners love to take our beloved 4 legged friends with us! In our recent survey we discovered that 86 percent of dog owners take their furry friends on holiday because they consider them part of the family. Leading the pack are Labradors, with 22 percent of respondents favouring them for their…

April starts the season of 'Osprey hunting' for me . So off to RSPB Loch Garten, on-line of course, and the sites up, just about, but no Ospreys as yet. So over to Scottish Wildlife Trusts "Loch of The Lowes" Website and, and not one but two Ospreys & mating in full view of the cameras ! Its not the aged "Lady" but a new…
For members who may have missed this one... Broomfield Farm closed permanently by the Caravan and Motorhome club last September, has now opened again with new owners . Hi, just back from a 4 hr trip to Westport House, where we took all 5 bikes in the aisle of the caravan (2 adults + 2 teens + 1 pre teen bikes). I noticed significant weaving when I went above 50mph, and wasn't sure if I had a steering issue on the car. Could the bike storage have caused this?
I decided to dig out my noseweight guage and test my Bailey Olympus as loaded for the first time. The gauge sank well past the 100kg mark which was the highest mark. I removed the awning, griddle, annex, and my inflatable furniture and put these over the axle. tested again, still over, removed towels etc and still the…
Well it’s that time of year again when we are encouraged to manage our lawns, meadows and grassland slightly differently. It’s not about being lazy and abstaining from ground work completely, it’s about allowing, for a relatively short period in the year, some carefully chosen areas of grassland to produce what nature…

After 40 odd years of towing,I had the first puncture, whilst leaving the site today, the car tyre low pressure warning alarm initiated on dashboard.Luckily I could change the tyre safely on the ground outside the site, well before the 13:00 hrs arrivals, but on fitting the new tyre from boot, even though it was a steel rim,it…
