Can anyone please advise what these cars are like towing a 1700kg caravan i.e. handling, fuel efficiency, etc Thanks
Hi. I've had 6 tourers but now I've bought a motorhome. I understand how to fill a fresh water tank from a service point. What's the best way of refilling the tank without moving the unit to the service point please. Also in terms of grey waste it it a bucket job or is it best to get a waste master or similar. Thanks
Those who travel alone find that many campsites have price lists assuming an outfit with two people . So it might be helpful for members in that situation to start a list of sites which recognise that some visitors will come singly and price things accordingly. I can start the ball rolling with Ashe Farm near Taunton in…
Got back from Fisher Field yesterday after a great weekend away. Downside is van is filthy bit that will have to wait, more important jollities to enjoy House more or less decorated although not bothering with outside
We've had a number of discussions in the past about the North Coast 500, also known as the NC500, so I thought it would be good opportunity to have one main discussion where people can share their recommendations or ask any questions they may have if planning this incredible route. Some campsites you might want to consider…
I can't see the original sticky so will start a new thread. Saw nearly 30,000 knot on Breydon Water yesterday. Great weekend at Minsmere, Otter, Kingfishers, Bitterns, lots of Marsh Harriers
What Is your view like over Easter? Wild and windy here but better later in the afternoon. peedee
For many of us, the joy of caravanning and motorhoming is the freedom to explore at our own pace. But as we spend more time on the road, the "perfect layout" becomes less about aesthetics and more about practicality. This week, we’re discussing the ultimate trade-off: The Fixed Bed vs. Make Up Bed every night We’d Value…
Hi This is my first time on this forum, and I could really do with asking some advice on a problem we've encountered on our last three outings. When we pitch up on site, we hook up the electrics and the internal 240 board rcd trips. I then turn off all the circuit breakers and turn them back on one by one. When I turn on…

Due to Family bereavement we reluctantly have to sell (no drivers) our Motorhome. It is an AS Nuevo 60th Anniversary Edition, 2 berth, 5years old, 15000 miles. MOT yesterday. Habitation booked for 29th. We live in Scotland. Any Dealer recommendations please? Or advice re Private.
Due to a Family bereavement we will be selling (another discussion!) our motorhome. We have sent off the SORN and it is presently in a platinum storage facility. The insurance runs out on 8th June and the company (Devitt) won’t issue ‘storage only’ cover. It is probably safe enough without but worried something happens in…
October last year we welcomed our first child. So decided to sell our beloved swift basecamp 2 beacuse i felt it would be a squeeze and got a bailey unicorn vigo which is has the island bed. I feel like i rushed into it now because i cant seem to get the layout to work. We got a smaller travel cot which fit perfectly…

Does anyone know where I might get something similar to a Hynes Manual type construction book for my Autotrail F-Line F74 motorhome? I used to use these in my earlier years when poking about with second hand cars / bikes and they were a fantastic tool. I have a few issues with the van and I'd like to know more about the…
