Hi. We are going to be staying at Yellowcraigs to watch the Scottish Open on the Sunday. Can anyone confirm there is a quicker route into the golf course from the caravan park, rather than having to use the main road. Can we cut across directly from the site into Archerfield? any help greatly appreciated. Best Scott
We've had a number of discussions in the past about the North Coast 500, also known as the NC500, so I thought it would be good opportunity to have one main discussion where people can share their recommendations or ask any questions they may have if planning this incredible route. Some campsites you might want to consider…
I have been using the clubs Avtex Tourer One for about 8 or 9 years and have found it very good. It is easy to use and has generally been reliable. A few years ago I had to add a micro simm card for extra capacity, which is fine, but I'm now finding occasional issues at update time with connectivity, speed of downloads and…
Can anyone please advise what these cars are like towing a 1700kg caravan i.e. handling, fuel efficiency, etc Thanks
Got back from Fisher Field yesterday after a great weekend away. Downside is van is filthy bit that will have to wait, more important jollities to enjoy House more or less decorated although not bothering with outside
So every year we travel through France, and have been using RP for all of those years. After a double blow out on the french motorway a few years ago while heading home we saw the benefit of RP when they found us an overnight campsite and has us recovered to their until the garages were reopen the next morning to have 2 x…

Hi everyone, Have you seen the latest Met Office forecast for this coming weekend? It looks like the unsettling, damp weather we’ve had recently is finally packing its bags, and we are in for an absolute cracker! Temperatures are set to soar—with some parts of the south expected to see mid-to-high 20s, making it a strong…
I can't see the original sticky so will start a new thread. Saw nearly 30,000 knot on Breydon Water yesterday. Great weekend at Minsmere, Otter, Kingfishers, Bitterns, lots of Marsh Harriers
I have broken the magnetic pairing switch which is located on the A frame of the caravan and is required to connect with the remote control - does anyone know where I might be able to get spare parts for it or get the existing part repaired. I have approached Alko but they do not sell to the public and my local dealerships…
Being new to this forum, I don't know if this idea has been posted before. I found that on our old caravan, the fridge was much more effective with a fan to assist with cooling. This took the form of 12-volt computer fans on the top vent to extract hot air faster, simple to wire in (via a switch), and very quiet. Small…
Does anyone know about leaving a motorhome on a club site while I go cycling for 2 days ?

Did anyone stay awake for the football last night? If so, where did you watch it?
Hi folks. we rented motorhomes before and it was usually Elddis with a magnetic catch for the habitation door. Naively, we never checked before buying on how the Swift habitation doors are held open. The door stay appears to still function fine, as it does hold the door open until we get a gust of wind and it will blow it…
