Got back from Fisher Field yesterday after a great weekend away. Downside is van is filthy bit that will have to wait, more important jollities to enjoy House more or less decorated although not bothering with outside
One of the best things about owning a caravan or motorhome is the freedom to explore some of the most breathtaking routes the country has to offer. There’s something truly special about hitting the open road and enjoying those picture-perfect views. I would love to see your favourite scenic routes. Do you have a hidden gem…
We have just returned from Hawes, we had freezing night time conditions. The day we were leaving we found out our waste pipes under the van had frozen, luckily they thawed out without causing any damage. I was thinking of lagging the pipes with foam pipe covers, has anyone else done this or any other ideas. Thanks in…
Hi, we have a Swift Icon Trend 560 - single axle (Challenger 560). We have now had this from new for 18 months. Several months in, less than six, the panel between the kitchen and toilet had come away from the side of the caravan half way down going to the floor. It was returned and fixed under warranty, it happened again…

If anyone is interested, attached above is a note I made of my experience of using a metered electricity pitch on a Club site. Note the Club has said it will trial another system in the 2nd quarter of 2025? Personally I had no difficulties using the current system or getting a refund of my unused credit. So is the Club…
A site I visit has removed all bins from service points and established a central (actually not central) waste collection point. One sign states this is so as not to use the 2.5 million bags used annually and thus save the planet. Another sign states that it is to save the club the £636000 it currently spends on the bags.…
We have a VW Grand California 600 which let us down in late August while touring on the wild & beautiful Beara Peninsula in West Cork, Ireland. The domestic water failed, leaving us without circulating water, water & domestic heating, & toilet flush. VW Roadside rescue service told us that the fault lay beyond their brief,…
