Well wish I could. My annual travel policy will only cover Covid issues in relation to medical (which is pretty pointless) and repatriation. Biggest issue is being able to cancel if there is risk of a quarantine being imposed without taking a huge financial hit...and can’t see that being likely.
Looking like a staycation in Devon for summer next year but have loads of other short UK caravan breaks booked

Similar story, ferry booking to Bilbao moved to next April and this year's campsite booking transferred to next year. Hopefully 7 weeks on the Costa Daurada.
Next September has not yet been sorted out but the plans will involve Spain.

Just a return ferry trip to France booked for next September / October. Booked with BF on a flexible fare, done to secure the cabins we wanted, although the St Malo route and Bretagne is being mothballed until at least March. The 8 months to September will hopefully be spent holidaying in the UK on several trips.

I have no money tied up with a ferry company - no refund vouchers, no amended tickets, no new reservations, and no plans.
If there is still a ferry service from Plymouth by next May or June and the weather looks promising I might buy a ticket a few days in advance and go across the water. But campsite, holiday cottage or a very smart hotel - who knows? I certainly don't.

I’m feeling fairly optimistic about the prospects of a vaccine next year, so hopefully re-scheduled Spain & Greece ferry tickets will finally get used? For something more exotic, my favourite bit of heaven is Amsterdam Manor, Aruba.

Not that worried about the money tied up, its only a deposit and can be moved to another date if required. If BF shouldn't survive, it was paid on a credit card, so should be protected. We left it till the last minute last year and the only cabins left were two birth bunk. Neither of us do top bunk anymore.😂

One thing about being of the "older"(in body)generation, booking anything but places and time of year that get filled up, is always a bit of a puzzle (not so with this club)as doctors/hospitals appointments can make for short notice alterations

I am through with plans. Our planned trip in October 2019 was postponed as hubby was ill, then our trip for March 2020 was postponed as I was supposed to be having a hip operation, then our trip in October 2020 was postponed because I was supposed to be having the hip operation that was cancelled because of Covid.
When hip is replaced and Covid vaccinations given I will just ring up and see what is available ferrywise as we never book anything else anyway.

I have a cruise booked carried over from one postponed this year apart from this I am keeping my options reagarding foreing travel open. The first hurdle is to keep my C1+E licence but I lean towards touring the north of the UK, something I have not done for quite a while but I will not book anything for this. I just intend to wing it and stop at all maner of sites, wild if absolutely necessary.
We will wait and see what the year brings.

Nor me. I'm hoping for daytime crossings to and Roscoff without paying for a cabin at all. And that economy tickets bought a few days ahead will be £50 cheaper than Flexi tickets bought months in advance. But I'm not a planner.

Good luck with the new hip whenever it gets done. Had my right hip done in 2010 (March) and I towed for the first time 12 weeks later and we went to France in the September.

We probably won't do anything long haul next year, have quite enjoyed that in February for the last few years. Would love to go back and see more of Mauritius and combine it with Madagascar.
But we have a river cruise - Lyon to Avignon - booked for May and a Greek island hopping jaunt transferred from ...er ... next week to the same time next year. (Ironically, we could probably have done it this year as it turns out.

Thanks David. Had the left one done 18 months ago and it was wonderful to be mobile for a couple of months before the right one kicked in. I am so longing to get back to France and Spain and try Portugal but everything come to he, or she, who waits.

Pretty similar to AD, we’ve a crossing to Bilbao booked with Brittany Ferries for next May, returning from St Malo in mid July. Essential the same as we had booked for this year.
Too early to even think about any long haul trips, but hopefully things will continue to improve, virus wise, and fingers crossed for a vaccine before too long.We’re off in the van tomorrow for a couple of weeks in East Anglia, should be some good birding at this time of the year.

Just the usual for us, Lanzarote beginning of March for 3 weeks.
Ferry to Spain mid April, moved from this year.
Would normally do a cruise in January but not in 2021 bit to soon to try one.
Still haven't given up on 2020 yet, if we get the green light we are going. Changes to quarantine could be made very shortly, if so will they lift the FCO advice
if they do then it will be a mad rush to the tunnel

We are hoping to take the caravan abroad for the first time to Santander or Bilbao, in early July next year. Looking for recommendations for smallish ( 40-50 pitches ) adult only sites , preferably walking distance or short cab ride into nearest village or town, probably 5 days in Northern Spain and 5 days in France, 2-3 hours from the ferry ports.

Adult only sites are a British thing not a Spanish thing ! And the dates you have in mind are within school summer holidays for bothSpain and France. So head inland and avoid sites with super sized swimming pools with water slides.
But if you land at Santander a smallish site within an hour of the ferryport is El Molino de Cabuerniga - about 40 pitches - and in France you have an unlimited choice. Where do you plan to be?

Thanks for that. Not sure of final destinations but as first timers we thought 2-3 hours into Spain and somewhere like Bairritz before heading home as it looks close ( ish ) to the ferry. Didn't want to put ourselves under too much pressure with long distances.

Why can they not take into consideration individual circumstanes and give approval. I need to go and check my boat in France and secure it for the winter. I can go there and back in my motorhome with the only contact being with card operated fuel pumps. I can carry everything I need and do not even have to shop. The only annoying contact is the Ferry. At our age we are vulnerable. Why can we not sign a waver and remain in our mororhome on the Dover/Calais crossing rather than being forced to go up and use their shop and food outlets. I could go out and back in 8 days, check and winterise my boat, without coming into contact with anyone. I know a few people with property, static caravans, barges, and boats in France who need to just go and check their property.

Wreaker you could go out and come back via the tunnel but unfortunately you would still need to quarantine on return to UK.
We had thought about going to Germany for a few weeks, we would not have to quarantine on return, if we drove from Germany through Belgium to the tunnel, providing we didn't mix with anyone else on the journey.
We were quite happy to do this but it would appear that Belgium's numbers are on the rise yet again and it is possible that we may now have to quarantine on arrival in Germany so we have decide its not worth it.

It’s not about you. It’s about you infecting other people. You cannot guarantee that you will not come into contact with anyone - that's impossible as you will need fuel, you might break down, you might have an accident etc etc and all of those circumstances could bring you into contact with others.
You could easily carry the virus to France or back to this country and spread it to your loved ones as well as to total strangers. All the waivers in the world won't prevent that. Incidentally, would you also waive your entitlement to free NHS treatment?
To the best of my knowledge, there's no embargo on travel for most of us but you have to quarantine yourself when you return. You do exactly what you want but, please, do consider the rest of the population.
