Farmers Market today,  visit to my favourite sausage stall to stock up.

Weather much better today,  thank goodness it was really cold yesterday.  Had to make another trip to the dentist,  chipped another filling, cry all repaired and no charge this time smile

OH has been busy in the garage, preparing Daffy the MG for re spray.

Been trying to decide on where to go for our summer trip, undecided only have a week so it can't be that far, struggling to decide.

Ttda glad you had a nice day at Hardwick Hall,  we visited last year, only did the grounds as we had the dog with us, but did a lovely walk.

Wherenext,  "Daffy" is the nick name for a yellow 1976 MGB GT that Trevor is painstakingly restoring to her  former glory ☺ .

On the road at 7am this morning and enjoyed a pleasant run to Wales.  We are the first people on the CL since Rupert and Karen took over.  Lovely welcome from them.  Whilst setting up van watched Red Kites put on a flying display.  Had a quick run over to Powys Castle for a bit of a recce.  Came back to site via Morrison’s (others supermarkets available).  Early night methinks😴😴😴

Like TammyG, we really enjoyed seeing the Fishermen's Friends film today, if you like Cornwall, singing and a good tale (which strays from the original) it is as they say "a feel good film."

We arrived on site here in Berwick just after 4 this afternoon after a nice 3 hour 15 min drive from home it is normally a bit quicker but we got caughr in the usual afternoon traffic around Glasgow and then Edinburgh. Weather was nice when we arrived so we took the opportunity to cook dinner on the Cadac first time this year. After dinner SWMBO wanted to watch the soaps so I took a walk down to the local pub and had a couple of pints. Now back at the van, planning on going a cycle tomorrow and then take a walk into the town.

Helen please share pics of the MG when its finished.

    Red Tarn?

Obviously not. I've just caught up with the answer. Better luck with the next one perhaps.

Easy drive for us across country to Newby Bridge on a fine sunny day. CL is full tonight just like the one we've left. Looks like people are getting out during the good weather before it deteriorates during the Easter holiday period as it usually does.wink

Hope everyone that's out and about are having a good time in fine weather.

We had a wonderful night out yesterday - live music at Ulverston Social Club. Merry Hell are the sort of band that can make anything seem better.

Look them up, listen to their music or better still see them live!

We're seeing them again soon at Morecambe Platform, then back in the Coronation Hall at Ulverston in Autumn. Plus at least 10 more gigs booked for other bands in venues large and small.

We may fit some caravanning in sometime as well.

Yes, well, the dog certainly enjoyed the cookery book, for some reason the postie put it through the door instead of the dog proof box outside. Probably because it was pouring with rain and our box gets damp sometimes. Nice book, all the "quick" recipes from the recent programmes, haven't had much time to look at it yet.

A dog walk beckons this morning.  Seems like a better day today so hope all of those on their hols enjoy some sunshine too.
