"Missed  out  putting  the  08:30  doctors  appointment  in  it's  correct  place  tho'.  Sadly  I've  now  got  Another Blooming  pill  to  order,  collect  and  remember  to  take.  Not  a new  pill  but  I've  got  an  increase  in my "Levothyroxine".  Sadly  they  don't  make  a  pill  of  the  required  size  so " Please  add  this  to  your  Repeat  Requests  and  take  them  together"  then  come  back  for  another  blood  test  in  about  6 weeks.  Bloomin'  neighbours  will  think  the  rattling  as  I  head  downstairs  is  some  form  of  new  alarm  clock"

Coincidentally, I've also just had the same advice about levothyroxine - started on 50 micrograms a day, went up to 75 (the ones they don't do) and now, despite being only borderline underactive,  they've put me up to 100 with another blood test not 6 weeks. Only consolation is I get to renew acquaintance with the lovely young nurse who does the blood tests at our surgery - good job she's not also measuring my blood pressure I have to say! surprisedinnocent

After a showery start we had a fine day. Drove over to Harewood House, which I've never visited before. What a stunning place it is. After going round the house we walked round the lake to the Walled Garden, through the Himalayan Garden. Had to miss out on the bird garden as we had Flyte with us. There was an exhibition of craftwork throughout the house. Will have to return another time to see pieces we missed.

WN, this another house for you to visit as it has a great collection of Chippendale furniture.

Bakers2, I am so pleased to hear that your OH has had his op done and I do hope he will be back home with you soon.  You must be so looking forward to it.  I am pleased also to hear that Arbuthnot (or another hedgehog) is back in your garden and using the hedgehog box.  If they don't hibernate in there where do they hibernate I wonder.

Moulesy so pleased to hear that your Dad seems well settled and that you have got his home cleared.  A good tip about the BHF.  It is a charity we support and it is nice to know that they benefit. It is good that he has some of his home comforts with him.

Have a good trip WN. I hope the weather picks up for you.

Moulsey, just for your information.  I take 75mcg of Levothyroxine in one tablet.  It was a struggle to obtain at first, a few months ago, but I appear to be getting it ok now.

Terrible weather up here, wind and sleet all night, white on the ground and car this morning, but the heavy rain is washing it away.  I think today we will just be sleeping!  OH said the noise on the roof kept her awake, I, as usual slept through it all.

Just hoping the rain gives up before we run out of water in the van, otherwise I will be getting very wet.

Nellie, Monturpie is marked as closed and we were going to book onto their main site, but the owner said they would be open by the time we arrive.  Just hope he is correct!

If all else fails we will head for the Balbirnie site, which hopefully will not be fully booked.

No CCC internet here, but we do have a 3 signal, so able to use our own dongle.

Blimey,  heddlo,  the  Doctor  I  saw  yesterday  said  the  same  to  me  as  M's  said  to  him  surprised.  So  I'm  awaiting  the  arrival  of  my  latest  scrip  renewal  when  I'll  get  two  tabs  per  early  morning,  50  + 25  microgrammes.  I'm  just  hoping  there  will  be  room  to  spare  for  my  cerealundecided.

Actually  I'm  wondering  if  it's  expected  to  be  a  just  short  term  arrangement,  since  I've  already  got  a  'bloods'  request  form  for  6  or  so  weeks  time.

Kj,  I  just  had  a  peep  at  the  Osprey  nest  at  Loch  Garten  and  its  about  3 inches  deep  in  that  fluffy  white  stuff

Nice and sunny here although I don't think it will last, had some help in the garden this morning and it all looks neat and tidy, well nearly all. Our garden help said it looked like Buckingham Palace (? laughing) to which I replied that they probably don't argue over new slabbing there and they probably don't have things in pots from last year with missing labels...wink

Hope you are all doing well, whether home or away, keep taking the tablets, filling up the water, listening to the rain or whatever.

Best wishes to those on health duties and caring duties, and safe travels to everyone else.

Garden day for me, bit of tidying, lawn mowed. Sunny but bitterly cold here. First bluebells out in woods....way too early!

Checked out tonightโ€™s expected temps, down to 1c expected here. So glad I havenโ€™t put anything precious out yet.

Just had a phone call, and all our new furniture is ready for delivery next week! And our banister rope has arrived......busy busy here!๐Ÿค—

What a difference a day makes! Woke up this morning to brilliant blue skies and a sharp frost - glad I brought the pump in last night! So boots on after breakfast and off to do one of our favourite walks in the area from Sapperton up to Edgeworth where we stopped of for a coffee break at the little church and back to Sapperton for a protracted lunch at The Bell. Back now to some pleasant late afternoon sunshine and a nice refreshing cuppa.

(Tomorrow is going to be a different story, weather wise so better make the most of the remaining dry weather - just noticed that one of the seasonal vans opposite us has one of its rooflights left open, so have let the wardens know just in case! surprised)

Mr M , your last sentence reminded me ...A couple of months ago I had to go to the Doctor's for an "Intimate examination" .Our surgery has 9 GP's 8 male and 1female , ..no prizes for guessing who I got ๐Ÿ˜Š.To make matters worse she is a stunner , so it was lay back and think of England , or absolutely anything other than what she was doing.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.

    Great news  Bakers2 smile

Dull, cold and windy today, we had heavy sleet showers yesterday afternoon but then the sun came out again. No snow forecast for us but you never know.

Spent a fair few hours today trying to get my tablet set up to be able to download ebooks from our local library. They have change the system and I was getting nowhere with it at all. Turns out I needed to re-register at the library, something seemingly you have to do every 3 years surprised also my tablet didn't have the right 'reader' on it to decode the download. All sorted no but the air was very blue for awhile embarassed

Went out shopping (food) this morning and came home with 2 new pairs of shorts smile did manage to get some food as well laughing

And good luck from me Bakers.

Millie, the poor weather doesn't matter that much to us as we're away until first week in May so it's bound to be up and down.

Cheers for info, Nellie. Already on our list for June but good to know.

You know when the Chancellor leaks some info out before the Budget saying that taxes on "X, Y or Z" will increase by a significant amount and then only increases it by a small amount and we're all grateful? Well Mrs WN made a list of expensive Pens that she hoped to purchase last week from a specialist pen supplier here in Newport. We called at said supplier today and I was the grateful one when she only spent ยฃ60. Amazing how that works.๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜—

Spent a lovely morning at Newport Wetland Reserve before the rain set in at lunchtime.

Great news Bakers2,  Best Wishes & hope all goes well, smile

We had a really hard frost this morning,  but sunny and the forecast  showers never came.

OH has been keeping himself  busy , now he hasn't got to go to work,  made a new stand for the  bird table,  and when I came home he was busy with car repairs.

Decided tonight that as the pitches for  April 2020 were released today,  I would book a few days on a popular site  for my birthday next year, 3 nights came in at ยฃ106.80 ouch! ! surprised  when I'd picked myself up off the floor, I didn't complete the booking. wink

Hope those away enjoy their trips, and the weather improves.
