Of course, 2 pairs pants, 2 T shirts and 2 pair shorts, should all fit on the top shelf in one of the overhead lockers wink

I might go down town next week and look for some things for him once I've gone through his wardrobes to see what he needs.smile

    Totally and absolutely gutted.frown

Currently at Tredegar House having a few days R&R after last of my long runs pre-event.

4 mile loosen up last night and a wrongly placed foot aggravated an old heel problem. Overnight no better. I know it is going to take weeks. This morning withdrew from the London Marathon on the 22nd ....

Been struggling all day. Wandering around like a zombie.

    Oh well......

    Worse happens ..

What is it with the ladies always wanting to interfere with our clothingsurprised Mrs One tells me I have a little hole in a 15 year old t-shirt and complains if I wear it, I tell her its the fashion, look at all the youngsters buying brand new jeans with holes in the knees/legs but according to her that doesn't countlaughing

    Hope the foot improves Jen

Early start this morning as I've got a hospital appointment in the big cityfrown

Go carefully out there this Friday the 13th Aprilwink

The frustrating thing is that we continuously have to fill in the same information that is already held by the Government. Cambridge Analytica and Mr Zuckerberg seem to be able to process our data so why do we have to keep supplying the same old information when renewing passports/driving licence/health forms? There only needs to be one question "has anything changed?"

I failed miserably in not spending too much at our community food market last night, came home with bread, cheese, vegetables and even a sticky cinnamon bun! surprised Never mind I am supporting our local producers smile

Yet another grey chilly day, I forget the last time I saw the sun.

I've work today  but OH is off now for just over a week, just a bit jealous wink

Oneputt: Hope all goes well with appointment.

Sorry about the injuries onlyjen and Mr Route,  speedy recovery to you both.

I have given up getting involved in what OH wears and I don't think I'd dare do his clothes shopping! laughing

Mr Route that sounds painful, hope you feel better soon.

Helen, I only notice what OH is wearing if I spot something amiss like holes in a jumper....wink

I have remembered why I resisted the dentist changing a filling in the front of my teeth today. I must say he's done a good job but it was horrible, especially when he started singing.....he's much too cheerful.

Glad to hear your OH is home cariadon and hope his recovery goes well so you can get out and about in your caravan again soon.

Good luck  with your hospital appointment OP. I hope you get positive news.

Bad luck on your injury Onlyjen. How disappointing to have to pull out of the marathon. Also hope your injuries improve soon mr route. Sounds painful.

Hope your appointment at passport office  goes well.

I do most of OH's clothes shopping as he always says he doesnt need anything as he has plenty of (very old!!) clothes😲.

Had a good journey to N. Ireland yesterday apart from the fact that they spent ages looking at my cabin bag on the security screen and then  decided to swab it. No reason given but I was eventuality let through. We arrived in time to go and meet the grandchildren from school. Weather no better here than at home.  Very grey. Lovely to be with the family though.

Back from the big city after my appointment.

I have good news and not so good news.  The good is that I won a brand new I-Pad from the last Royal British Legion raffle😄

The not so good is that I will have to have something called Mohs surgery and perhaps more.  Anyone else having treatment wish you well.

Looks like we will have to cancel our May/June German trip.  😪

The  figures  seem  to  suggest  a  Success  rate  of  98--99.8%  OP

So  I  wish  you  rather  better  than  the  upper  figure  and  first  time  round  as  well.  Still  its  sad  if  you  do  have  to  cancel  your  trip  to  educate  them  European  folks.

Well done on winning the I-pad OH. Sorry to hear you might have to cancel your trip and hope all goes well with the surgery. Hopefully you wont have to have any further treatment. The NHS are wonderful and can do great things. There is a good success rate with this type of surgery.

Same from me Oneputt, hoping for good results for you, sorry you have to cancel your Germany trip but best to get the treatment  done so you can go another time.

MrRoute, take care and hope you are feeling better soon.

MillieH glad you arrived safe, enjoy your break with the family.

I've always bought the OH clothes, he doesn't have much interest in clothes shopping. If he can't find what he wants in the first shop that's it he's had enough. When he does buy things on his own they are always the same colour as he has at home (usually navy) but he never thinks to try and match bottoms to tops so hence my intervention wink

Dull grey day today so a day for cooking and freezing once I've finished with the housework.

Best wishes to Oneputt, a much more thorough treatment, so fingers crossed for success. The trip will seem even better after the treatment.

As for winning an I-pad, what can I say, pass it on if you don' like it....wink

Re security checks, our daughter's partner was held back and checked over three times when returning from holiday this week plus swabs, he's ex forces but still found it pretty daunting. Thinking about it I can see there might be a reason after recent events. Glad you got there ok Millie, maybe now some better weather for all of us?

Yesterday was Cake Baking. Today is Savoury Baking. Tomorrow is Sandwich Making

Interspersed with more tidying and cleaning. I love our big old house - but how does dust get into rooms miles away?

Tonight there will be 9 sleeping here, and tomorrow 11. So I've lots of bread to make as well.

Brief stop on here while sausage rolls cook.

    Bye!

Spent all day yesterday cleaning the MH wheels after a "ploughing match" on a CL. I then proceeded to wash off the roof and have today polished half of it. I'm off now, having recovered a bit of my energy levels, to do the other half.

There was a post about a week ago boasting of cleaning a MH in two hours. Yeah, right!
