I'll second that, brue.
Hope you get all things sorted out now that your wife is home, JVB.
Have been too busy with other things to write a proper response to all the posts. Just find time to catch up during the rest of the week.
Moved all of 23 mls today to another new to us CL. Looking out of the front window of the van there's a beautiful orange/red sky tonight over Anglesey

Sad to see that both Emma Raducanu & Andy Murray are out of the Singles at Wimbledon but I've not heard if they are in the mixed doubles as some papers have mentioned !!
Still Tomorrow, Thursday 30th there will be Diamond League athletics to keep me amused, with the Tour de France following hot on it's heels.
Must remember to take extra Vitamin & Glucose Tablets to ensure I'm fully awake !!
Take care, stay safe & C19 free if you can !!

I think Bella Italia and Cafe Rouge are the same group and they have closed a lot of branches. I also followed you idea of looking at the website to check which branches of ASK the vouchers are accepted in and would you believe it the place wanted to use them is not available. So I now have about £80 (voucher value) which might not get used!!!

I quite often get left over Co-Op Vouchers - usually from the 'Blue' Co-Op, which seems to be the most common Co-Op, nationally. In the Tamworth area we have a 'Green' Co-Op which doesn't normally issue vouchers - we have the old fashioned 'dividend' which is added to our account every spring. When we go out in the caravan, I have to remember to use any vouchers before returning home. Mind you, I've got a 'Yellow' Co-Op card too... no-idea where I got that from!!! 😀😀

We build up a dividend with our local co-op and spend it ad hoc, they do offer vouchers on produce sometimes, the odd 50p off cat food is all we get and our cat is happy with that!. I don't think we've ever had vouchers for any big spends, we obviously don't spend enough. Any offers I usually take cash instead, even the bank offers don't tempt me.

David K I hope you get to spend that £80.

Our Coop card is blue, there is a divi which is added on every spend and can be redeemed at any time, but we usually use ours at Christmas. Plus an App on which you get to choose two offers a week from a list, usually saves at least a pound and more if one of them is 10% off your shopping, as it includes wine😀They did away with most of the paper vouchers about two years ago, although I still get an odd one at the till.

Much better day here weather wise so spent it in the garden. OH has done 2 trailer runs to the skip and its loaded up again for a run in the morning. So much for trying to save on fuel.
The back and side garden have now had the shrubs trimmed and some have had a mega cutback. Front garden next, a fair few there need a good cut back and the rest just a trim. I've got a flowering cherry in the front garden it's starting to get a bit big and the trunk has got a split in it. Might have to get OH to chop it down 😞 shame as it flowers lovely, leaves drop a real pain though.
MH still in garage, the person working on it has got Covid now, so it's had to wait until another mechanic was free to take over and finish the job. Mot ran out today and it needs taxing. Hopefully it will be finished tomorrow.

All good so far, apart from a couple of wet days on Anglesey. We grand to meet up with the WNs again. Now on a fine CL that would suit you both, flat cycle way close by, lots of MBT trails not far away, with holiday cottages too.

This is where we went today. Don't think I have climbed so many steps!!

And one more thing I like the way you can opt to round down the divi and all the spare cash goes to named local community projects. (I know some other retailers do this but we get news about these things and it's good that something simple can raise quite a goodly amount.)

Well, it's been a miserable day with a big thunderstorm at lunchtime, no chance of grass cutting. Haven't done much since we got home, too wet to get the washing dry so things are piling up. This weekend we do the first dog duty for the new arrival whilst her owners play music at Pitfest. if your in the area it's a popular music event.

BBC weather for here yesterday - raining from 2pm, so I did indoor stuff and left the washing and gardening for today. Yesterday we didn’t get a drop of rain all day and quite nice. Weather forecast for today - lovely all day and dry. Washing done, gardening clothes on... and it’s bucketing down, just thick grey clouds, no sign of stopping. Think I will just hang a bit of straw out in future, might be more accurate.

Caernarfon I am guessing🤣 Yes, we did every Tower as well. Those big Welsh (!) Castles are truly imposing, of the four, we love Harlech. Sis lived and worked in Harlech for a while, we used to visit her. It has a really nice cafe and gift shop nowadays, took Mum in a couple of years ago. CL sounds interesting👍

I see the Government has some nominative determinism ongoing at the moment🤣🤣🤣 At least he’s been right honourable enough to resign.

It has finally cheered up Brue, the washing is out and a couple of hours gardening managed, hopefully coming your way now. Let’s hope that it doesn’t rain on the 15th, St Swithuns or 40 days and nights of it. I have reason to mark this day so, over the years, have come to realise that this old saying is actually usually right.
Off soon for a birthday tea for 9 year old youngest granddaughter. I have made some very pink iced fairy cakes for our contribution, but managed to get more little sweet pink ball decorations on the floor than on the cakes, the kitchen floor is crunching as I walk.

We visited the new British Normandy Memorial today. It is a very impressive, if thought provoking construction. It is huge, very difficult to get into one photograph. It needs to be to fulfil its purpose, every one of the small pillars of the walkways and the large panels on the monument is filled with names. It is located at Ver sur Mer and overlooks Gold beach. Behind the sculpture of the soldiers advancing towards the German forces you may just make out the remains of the Mulberry harbour at Arromanches.
For anyone thinking of visiting with a MH there are 10 dedicated spaces.

A place we must see and thank you for the photos SteveL, you are getting ready to go home I presume.
After a very chilly day yesterday a much warmer day today after the cloud went this morning so a few chores done and outside.
Have got rid of our air awning which we have not used but came with the caravan last year, the buyer came this afternoon in a 1991 left hand drive Elddis Autoquest motorhome with 14 years old triplet daughters they are on their way to see UK relatives near Sarlat tomorrow so hope to get awning up for a couple of nights so hope it goes ok for them, having 1 night at St Cirq la Popie tonight so hope they can get on the campsite as his girls want to use the swimming pool and interesting only dad has a mobile they are not allowed to have one as he said not old enough also too expensive and when we said most children in UK have a mobile it was interesting to see that they not too bothered, all animal lovers and have a lot at home hence that is where mum is also she came off riding one of their mules a couple of days ago gosh a busy time for them.
Looks like a very warm weekend upto 34C so the pool will be in use and friends are here for 1 night to catch up on a few chores.
Have a good weekend folks and keep safe.

A long day in the saddle today.
Called off at Nostell Priory on our way to the cottage near Richmond. Drank deep at the well of Chippendale.
All three of us enjoyed the visit and a quick trip around the garden. Then we had a very late lunch at the Wetherby Whaler Chippie in Wetherby itself so that we could get some stuff from M&S for the weekend.Eventually rolled into the cottage near to 5.30. All seems good but haven't tried the bed yet!

Coo, not far from us then😁 Always enjoy Nostell. Love the Wetherby Whaler as well, it’s often our last stop off if heading back via A1 from North. Hope the beds are comfy👍
Can recommend The Black Lion in Richmond for food, if you are eating out. Nice chippy as well, behind Regimental Museum.

Spot on. I could have spent all day in there but OH was getting rather fatigued and needed her lunch. Also we were unable to take Flyte in so he had been in the car for quite a while and needed letting out for a walk. Definitely a site to suit a longer stay, owned by an Alpine mountain guide, so he should know lots of walks/rides locally.

The caravan has just had it's annual service had a guy in to wash and wax the van and it looks like new we have opened up the toilet cassette checked inside then soaked in cleaning stuff over night to remove any scale and sprayed the seals flushed out the flush tank (no black bits even though we use the pink flush) the good lady has removed the carpets and shampooed them, due to our house move etc we and the caravan are now ready for our first outing this year

You could always use them in your local Ask in MK. Better than wasting them!
We do not have Cafe Rouge in Scotland, so have not tried them.
We had a nice meal in the Ask in M in M, it was not particularly busy on a Thursday evening, so good service. We got a free Spritzer with our meal, which was a bonus, I was driving so just had a little taste, OH enjoyed it.
We were pretty full up after a starter and a main course, so passed on the dessert and later had some strawberries and cream back at the van, they needed to be used up anyway.
Yesterday we went up to Broadway for a look around and some lunch, it was sunny, and pretty busy there. Today we are thinking of going down to Stow, but it has just started raining, we will see if it brightens up soon.

We build up divided, but it is added to the account each April - then we have until the end of that year to spend it. I remember my mother's old Divi number with the Wolverhampton Co-Op, before that days of plastic cards!! As children, if ever we went to the local co-op, either shopping for our mother, or to buy sweet etc., we would alway give my mother's divi number.. 😀
I think Tamworth Co-Op is still half way between that old system and the blue and yellow co-op's which, I think, add dividend instantly and which you can use straight away.
David
P.S. I've often got vouchers from the 'Blue Co-Op' for quite small spends - they tend to be around a £1 reduction when you spend a fiver, and have to be spent within a few days...

When we went to Broadway last year, we visited Broadway Tower and Batsford Arboretum. They both have cafe's.. 😀. We especially liked Batsford..
Hope you have a good time KjellNN
