How's your footy team doing?

At last a win! One of our aging strikers scored a stonker and our keeper, who prior to yesterday would have struggled to even catch this virus, made two world class saves.
We were even honoured with a visit from the blessed Bielsa, no doubt looking in to check up on the progress his former apprentice is making.
All we need now is to be able to go to the matches, or do we? I'm in two minds myself, perhaps if I get this new app?

Crewe's on the up and up as well Rog ~~ not a massive improvement on previous games 'cos they were not in truth that poor, but up front they could have used a 'tater sack for the chances they had .
Hate to say it on here in ( case DK is listening ) but Milton Keynes have some work to do already !!
As for the possible ' real ' attendance at games and not the digital things, I don't think it will be viable before Easter ! Can you imagine the squeals, whines and moans over V A R , Handball, FIFA interruptions etc etc. Some of the Senior ( OLD ! ) Managers would be ready prepared for a dash into the Cardiac Arrested Department , and Brian does not want to witness C P R on the touch~line.
Stay safe, Keep taking the pills

Blackburn are doing well at the moment, kind of dreading the international break when they normally come back broken and all form has gone...

I see the BBC are as committed to sport and football in particular as ever. Football Focus today was curtailed in favour of Homes Under the Hammer followed by Bargain Hunt.
In the shortened programme we were treated to a report on England's win over Wales including still photographs of the goals, they obviously couldn't afford to buy the highlights.

Good win for t'Alex today Brian. Onwards and upwards.
Lincoln on the other hand will rue the day they were invited on Football Focus to talk about their 100% start to the season, beaten at home this afternoon 2-1 by Bristol Rovers.

Not sure about MY team at present, they are sick as a Covid
But I'm hearing that the Mighty Home Country, England had two ( 2 ) sent off to night, one after the end of the match for " Foul & Abusive " -- he played well I'm hearing but should carry a severe penalty from the manager, never mind the Authorities

I see the Alex fought out a draw at home to the Seasiders.
An unexpected win for the Terriers today as well 😀
It also looks like Sky, having dispensed with services of Thompson et al kept Merson for his comedic value. He really struggles with foreign names. We have two players called Mbenza and Toffolo. He was covering Towns match and called them Mzena and Tolofolo.🤡

Another three points but my they made hard work of it.
The goal was a thing of beauty, from our keeper via 7 passes to the back of their net in 11 seconds.
We're now playing a refined version of Bielsaball known as Carlosball
The hard men of Preston North End up next. Town will do well to get owt out of that game!

Well you could blow me down with a flugelhorn , t'Alex scored their first away goals of the season today and consigned Doncaster to the orchestra stalls __ quite looking forward to playing Lincoln now -- anybody else fancy their chances please ??
As you forecast Roger no change for your tigresses from P N E alas

No Brian and we had the lead early doors as well and a man sent off to boot. Hey ho such is football.
Games are coming thick and fast, on to the Brummies on Wednesday .
Beware the Imps. Did you know the imp on their badge is based on a stone imp which is to be found in Lincoln Cathedral, you have to look carefully to find it.

Seek and ye shall find, Rog -- Brian sought & found the scamp up on one of the big bits of stone holding the roof off me 'ead
Seem to recall the Cathedral is on about the only hill in Lincolnshire, at least I could get back down to the car park easily enough

It's at the top of the appropriately named Steep Hill.
At our age it should carry a health warning.
Back to the football, I see that the Toffees are to appeal this afternoon's red card. I thought that Kevin Friend got it spot on. The lad had two goes at him and chased him down to administer the coup de grace!

Another fine win for the Terriers after two rather unlucky defeats.
Two very different team goals. The first involved 25 passes from our keeper to the back of the net, the other was a mirror image of the winner the other week, keeper to net 5 passes.
The Brizzles up mid week followed by the Hatters next Saturday, two winnable matches but we can be consistently inconsistent.🤓
