Not too bad for you both, Crewe away to Cheltenham.....should best them ABM?....and Bristol Rovers at home to Darlington, just the sort of match you want M?

Town's proclivity for scoring team goals has caught the attention of the Times reporter who writes a column in the footie supplement "The Game"
Supporters on the forum DATM (an acronym for Down at the MAC) itself a reference to the former name of the stadium, now seem to believe that we're at our most dangerous when the keeper has the ball ready to play out from the back.
I haven't heard anyone mention it's like watching Barcelona but it's surely only a matter of time.😂

This time last year Rovers were up in the play off positions. Then, after a stunning win at Ipswich Graham Coughlan decided to leave and further his career at a club a league and a half below us (he since been sacked at Mansfield). The Rovers board said they would look for a new manager with experience in the lower leagues - and promptly appointed a guy with no managerial experience at all. They won 2 games put of 17 before the season was halted. Then he got rid of all our most experienced players and bought in a bunch of youngsters he'd worked with as a coach. Now we are left with a squad with an average age of 23 to battle through the rest of the season. I'd have thought it was blindingly obvious that this "project" was never going to work at league 1 level.
Who comes next? Who would want the job? Michael Flynn was mentioned last year but would he want to leave Newport who are doing so well and take us on? For me, though I hate to say it, Lee Johnson (formerly with that club whose name I will not mention ) would be a good choice with loads of experience.
Whatever happens the rest of the season is looking ferry grim for the Gas.

I think Danny and Nicky will take their time choosing the right job for them. They'll have been well rewarded for leaving Town at the end of last season. Before they came to us they were strongly linked with the Massive (Sheffield Wednesday) but when that job became vacant recently they didn't get it Tony Pulis now installed there.
A great result for the Alex yesterday beating the table topping Posh👏👏👏👏
Brian must be "over the moon"

Just Landed, Roger __ by 'eck twas c c cold up there
Watched EFL on freeview ch 12 ( Quest ) yesterday evening and again this morning - just to make sure I was not dreaming of course. No joking The Alex played Posh off the park so much that Keeper Will Jaaskelainen could have taken the Saturday Telegraph to read, Honest

Current bookies favourite for The Gas job seems to be Paul Tisdale - did a good job with a squad of youngsters at Exeter, not so good with more established players at MK Dons who sacked him just about this time last year. I wasn't keen then, but given the new look of our playing squad he might just be a good fit this time round!

No sarky comments from you lot please, I'm having difficulty getting round the house today, totally due to the huge grin on my face after giving Oxford a man to man class in social distancing on the footy field.
## OH, happy days are here again giggle giggle chortle ##

Well, that change of management worked a treat then!
Seriously, the new guy has only had a day to look at "his" squad, and doubtless things will start looking up on Tuesday - after all everyone beats poor old Wigan don't they? Even Oxford managed that today.

You would expect that when your team scores three away from home they win yeah? Not my team.
Can't help myself but I just had to watch them at Wycombe mid week. I say at Wycombe I meant on my phone. A perfect example of "hoofball" the ball was in the air more than it was on the grass.
Fast forward to Saturday and the Boro visit, managed by a former Town manager and we score three and win.
On Tuesday we're at Cardiff where we've struggled recently so I'm currently wondering whether to watch.

Came back from1 - 0 down to earn a point -- really wanted to celebrate today with two points but ...........
Seem to recall from somewhere that 'Uddersfield & Bristol Rovers scraped a couple of wins from somewhere so that's two 'appy souls on here.
Thinking about Burton, as I was, I wonder how Young Pauline is going on 'cos she decided to share her Footy Friendships with them when she moved house.

Yes I'm a happy bunny. A nicely crafted win for the Terriers. A good bounce back from a poor show in midweek.
Plymouth int' cup reminds me of when we played them in the 1960s and I was there. We went by train leaving Huddersfield at 10ish on Friday night arriving at Plymouth at 6 in the morning.
The thing that sticks in my mind was that the daffodils were out in Home Park yet when we finally got back home there was about 4 inches of snow. Oh and Town won 2-1 I think.
