A club (did I have to say it was a club site?) site in Scotland, where they tested the Mulberry harbours

Thank you for starting this thread David, I've found it fascinating and a useful distraction from all the current 'gloom and doom' People's photos and knowledge is simply astonishing and for me, makes the membership all the more worthwhile. (NB this is NOT an invitation for further comments re membership!) A brilliant thread, long may it continue.
My contributions are probably known to a few of you:

This mill is in a small town not far from one of the club sites, sells bread flour...if only I could get some! And also has a good café.

yes full marks, a lovely quiet site

It does look like Alford near the Sutton on Sea site.

The site was not cheap, but it had spectacular views, a good restaurant and probably the best shower rooms ever encountered. With Berchtesgaden 10 mins by car in one direction, Salzburg 25 mins by bus in the other, a great spot to spend some time.
On the left hand side of the river (I'm stood on a bridge) there's a lovely Aldi store to replenish stock.

When we look through the sky lights in our conservatory roof we've got one of those palms too, ours reminds me of some gardens in Cornwall. I know it's not Spain David but it will still be there, here's hoping we can all get to our holiday favourites in the future.

We have Cornish palms in our garden. They need cutting back again.
There's a nice blue sky and warm sun today too. 👍
