And this one - over the sea but not over there

And crossing that bridge is scarier than it looks

My grandparents had a house named after one of the places on the coast along there. I used to look at maps and wonder why the name was chosen. I've done the train journey from Genoa to Pisa, fantastic coastline. smile

Wasn't always an old 'git' in lockdown. Weekend TDY from Decimonanu to ? at behest of FCO. It's me on the left and tall Chris my pilot. (Cath is going through old photos)

Gibraltar I would think. I did once fly over it in the backseat of a Phantom that would later become infamous as the Jag Killer - hope that wasn't yours?

I lost some brain cells to that Deci Redembarassed

Many of you I'm sure will have passed or used these services. Taken this morning after 9.

Ah! Deci Red! Tried taking some back to Bruggen in plastic jerry cans, but it never tasted the same, or indeed drinkable. Wasn't one of my (31Sqn) jets you shot down - 14 Sqn I think. Steve, the pilot, survived and bought a barrel of beer. Phantom crew came over from Wildenrath to aplogize and were chased out of the mess by the Station Commander.
