Nellie - if you down load an app called "photo resizer" it's a piece of cake on a tablet ( thanks to DSB for the original tip) but I must admit I can't do it from my PC.

I use photo resizer on my android phone. Really easy. Not tried to load from laptop. Photo on phone, open resizer, select photo, resize, save, it's filed in my documents when you come to post.

Walk 4 miles on shingle beach today, totally shattered.  Just been outside the van and the moon is bright and Jupiter is just below it with as far as I can make out 4 moons showing.  Goodnight all

Been a good day here ttoday.  Weather here in the borders has been nice. We had a relaxing morning in the caravan and then took a walk in to the town. After a quick coffee back at the van I  went out a lovely 20 mile cycle through the countryside . We did plan to go to one of the local pubs tonight but ended up watching the Germany game so just had a few beers in the van.

Our caravan aircon is working very well. We've been using it a lot, especially in the afternoons when it gets much too hot!

Yesterday, we went to the car dealer in Portslade but he couldn't get the phone to pair with the car. So he tried with his own mobile phone which paired without difficulty. So it became clear that there was a fault with the phone, Moto C. So we went to the Tesco phone shop and got it changed for another phone, a Nokia. Now I'm having to wait for the number to transfer over, which can take up to 24 hours, I was told.

Well we still seem to be able to post this morning. So perhaps the Lego men have sorted it, for the moment at least.🤞

Weather was excellent for walking yesterday, warm but not overly hot, as is anticipated for the rest of the week. So we decided on a decent walk. Caught the bus out, utilising our bus passes, (I wonder how long we will keep them🤔) then walked back on the paths through the forest round here. We are really lucky in that respect, we can be into the forest within 5 minutes of leaving home and it is possible to walk for far more miles than we can manage now, just crossing the odd road.

Whilst we were sat eating our lunch, the Red Arrows flew over in formation. On checking Google, (amazed I could get it, many places are like Clumber, dead spots) they had just taken off from Scampton and were on route to Bristol, doing four fly pasts on the way and landing just 40 minutes later. They were going to refuel there before taking part in the air display at Weston.

Whish I could get to Bristol in 40 minutes, but then they have the advantage of not towing a caravan. Plus wings of course.😂

Doesn't the SIM have the phone number. Isn't it normally a case of just moving it between the two phones? Unless it a different sized SIM of course, like when we bought our first iphone. However, even then the O2 shop did it before we left the store.

It seems like you had a great day out, EasyT and a lot of walking around. So a rest day today is probably a good idea!

I got my rota for next week. I'm due to work Monday 18:00 to 23:00, Tuesday 18:00 to 22:00, Wednesday day off, Thursday 18:00 to 22:00, Friday 18:00 to 23:00, Saturday 17:00 to 23:00, Sunday day off. So total of 24 hours to work this week. So a little easier than last week but no guarantee that it will stay that way. If they're short of drivers, for whatever reason, they can ask me to come in on one of my days off and recently that has been happening!

So I just have to keep fighting tiredness and think of the money!

If I can achieve the target of £18600 a year, from pension and earnings alone, it will mean that my wife will be able to re-apply for a spouse visa, having fulfilled all the rules, including the financial rule. Then it won't matter if the Home Office refuses to take into account the monthly £325 gift from my eldest brother. Nevertheless, the monthly gift will still keep coming because he is committed to giving us this support and help.

Same here, but we're on the move, so it's farewell to Norfolk. We've enjoyed our stay here. Starting to worry about the plants at home, we hear it's been very hot.

Gloriously warm without the recent chilly breeze at present here 😃. Breakfast outside again, has been too chilly until the last couple of days 😉.

Off to buy tickets for the circus very soon, on a very large village green in the adjacent village. We're going yesterday evening but i got the time wrong 😲😲 so went for a Thai meal instead, very nice it was too. I have never been to a circus so am looking forward to it. Last performance here before they move on to Clacton I believe. Performance is 2pm so really means we can only potter 😉.

For all those travelling safe journey, for all others enjoy your day however you spend it.

Enjoy the rest of your trip Brue.  Went to Titchwell at 7am this morning to see the baby Tawny Owl 🦉.  On the way back got the car washed, sort of, lots of crops being irrigated so drove through 3 lots of quite heavy spraylaughing.  Off to have a look at Binham Priory and other places of culture today.  Enjoy your day folks.

Well that's what I thought. It should have been a simple process of moving the sim card from one phone to another but the staff there didn't think of that. Instead they transferred the number to a new sim card.

I went back to the phone shop this morning. They said the system crashed 20 minutes after it was put through. So they have now put yet another new sim card and told me I must wait another 24 hours before it will work!

In the west Venus is also very visible in the early evening. But due to the full moon coming up make the best of these planetary views as the sky will get too bright on clear nights. smile

TDA, it's called Marina Field, at Brampton near Huntingdon, top end price but worth it. My phone photos don't come out well on here. I'll do a review "somewhere wink" with some better photos later. I can sit by the river and hear the football practice on the TV!! laughing I can only imagine England will have more of challenge next time.
