Time to roll back to previous forum?

One thing is for certain........all those ardent fans of the CC who say that they can never do any wrong and cannot understand why anyone would complain, will certainly never encourage the CC to improve anything.
A bit like saying that you will pay their prices however much they are.
(And yes, there are those on here who effectively say that!)

Customer feedback is the life blood of the vast majority of businesses.
If none of their customers can be bothered highlighting any shortcomings then how are they to know that there is customer disappointment and thus take steps to improve.
Fortunately there are at least 25 customers on the forum, who care enough to help Head Office improve the forum by offering feedback --- compared with around 5 customers who insist that the product is wonderful.
I am convinced that because of the feedback from caring customers, this forum software will improve greatly in the future.
Cheers................. K

The constant complaints of 'caring customers' are no different to 'product is wonderful' ones, eventually it all becomes so much 'white noise' it just annoys & gets ignored by most folk, including those in charge. Crying wolf I think it's akin to.

All this worry about the forum when surely the most pressing matter is getting the site/CL search working correctly.
Lets get the priorities right, sort the search facilities & details 1st so we all have a better chance to sort out our site bookings (after all it's why we all joined the club)
While it's nice to have the forum surely it's secondary to the main purpose of the club.

I think we are all becoming aware of the shortfalls, and I know the moderators are also pushing for some things to be changed/upgraded, many of which have been mentioned in this and other threads, including by myself. However, with regard to the OP, my guess is that a rollback to the previous website is unlikely to figure as a solution. We are being told that things will now be easier to fix, so perhaps they will be fixed quicker than they would have hitherto have been.....

Good points DSB, so good they are worth mentioning twice.
Hopefully this double /treble posting will be classed as an "easy fix" even by the CC IT team!

You are quite right Dave. As I've often said " Its only a forum and not real life." ------------- Those people who get all hot and bothered when they hear of others feeding back information to Head Office to help improve the CC software, should remember that there is much more to life than spending their lives on a forum which is just an insignificant add-on to the main CC site
Caravan Forums are to be enjoyed, but in moderation --- also very useful to help others and give friendly advice about our hobby. They are not a substitute for real life.
Chill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
