Fingers crossed for you OP. Very good service from the NHS.

So sorry to hear the sad news Husky, my thoughts are with you, all the very best. Lovely that you plan to give your Father a wonderful time.

That's good, do you know how many times you will have to have the procedure?
Well I drove the MH into town no problem, very nervous as first time on my own. BBQ point now fitted and I collected it just as rush hour started
however now back home and MH is fine and re-parked outside the house just as before
quite pleased with myself.
Must do more driving OH keeps taking over since he retired and I don't get enough practice these days.
Sun is trying to come out, a bit late in the day but we often get that here. Hoping next couple of days are dry so I can get into the rest of the garden. We have a stiff breeze so it is drying things up nicely.

Hopefully TG they can complete it in the day and although it’s under local anaesthetic it could be quite lengthy, but we must wait and see.
Mrs One got her train ticket to come and join me in Hampshire, a very reasonable £32 one way.
It’s been another warm, sunny day here so plenty done in the garden 🌷🌹🌸

It's been fairly warm here but mostly cloudy with a very blustery breeze which is hopefully drying things out. OH did a lot of gardening today and it is all looking good. When I was on duty in the Cathedral today a chap came in who said he was in his camper van at Ferry meadows and things are beginning to dry up there as well. Fingers crossed for some sun tomorrow.
Well done Tammygirl. I used to drive our motorhome occasionally but never on my own.

Was just having a catch up on here, when we had a visit from an old friend /neighbour who moved away a couple of years ago. Really nice catch up and a look at her new Mercedes Convertible a pressy from her husband.
OH brought the caravan home from storage today, gave it a bit of a clean, but roads past the quarry were dry so caravan didn't get too mucky.
Oneputt, hope all goes well with the op.
Well done Tammygirl, driving the motorhome.

Finally finished washing and polishing the MH. It's taken three and a half days in total. Am I just more thorough than those who claim to complete the task in a few hours or am I doing something wrong?

Oneputt, had a word with my brother about MOHS. He was offered it but because he was emigrating to France he didn't take it up and just took the skin graft and meds which was continued in France. Sorry can't help with any info. Good luck for tomorrow.

No CY - like others of us, we are no longer as fit or as fast as we used to be and so simple tasks take longer.
That is why time seems to be speeding up as we progress through life.
If only there were a magic pill to stop it doing so.

If OH was to do ours totally on his own I would say probably 2 - 3 days to do a good job, ie get all black streaks off, wash the roof, then polish it. I generally help him remove the streaks and polish it though so we usually do it in a day. Flipping hard work though which ever way you look at it.

Very sad news HD, many members of CT will be thinking of you and wishing you all the best. What a wonderful idea to make the most of his remaining months, well done.
All the best to you OP, for your upcoming ops.

The same comes from me too HD. Thinking of you and your family.

We too hope that all goes well this time OP. Will it put a stop to you're caravanning for a while?

Don't thinks so CY, it takes me about the same time to clean our caravan & car after each trip.
Well done TG with the driving of the M/H. Wish I could get OH to drive these days, never mind towing.

Where's all this fine weather that's been promised. We've had rain for most of the morning and then a cool wind. It did brighten up by mid afternoon but doesn't seem to be getting any warmer. Hope tomorrow's better.
We did manage an 1 1/2 walk this morning without getting too wet as we were under the trees in the woods beside the site.

It's on the way Nellie, soon it will be time for members to dig out the club uniform.
Shorts, socks and Crocs.

Sure hope it is. I've not yet had my shorts on, although I do wear my crocs every day, at home and in the van.

It partially arrived here in Essex today. Long sunny intervals but stiff breeze. I had to change out of jeans and sweatshirt at lunchtime into shorts and t-hirt 😆. Back in legs and arms now though 😉. Gas fire on as don't want to heat the house!
Car collected no charge. Unable to say defin what it was - not sitting in a cup? properly taken apart and reassembled. Hopefully resolved.

Don't think its coming this far up NTH, been dry here today but breezy and not warm at all. We had heavy rain overnight last night.
I don't get to do much driving these days as OH automatically jumps in the drivers seat. He can't manage the MH though just now (shoulder op) so he followed in my car to bring me back. Nervous going into town but not bad coming back I just need more practice, I did reverse park it outside the house though so well pleased.
No chance of not having heating on here Bakers2, managed to not have it on between 10.00 and 17.00 but had to switch it back on then as the house was getting quite cold.
