Our routine is developing as well, at least on days off from Mum caring!
Dog walk, Lots of gardening, other chores, lunch, more gardening, more gardening if I can wriggle out of second dog walk, dinner, watching Channel 4 news, catch up with family and friends on WhatsApp etc....
Wet days will be spent in greenhouse or other hobbies. We have cleared a space at home for caravan as well. Fingers crossed we can get it where we need it now.

TammyG, I'm glad you have not succumbed to the Washing machine yet !!
Went out this afternoon to feed the birds but two houses to the left of me and two houses to the right of me had full lines of clothing out drying in a fairly stiff breeze. So I left the feeding 'til later and went Weedol -- spraying instead but it was a touch cool so I came back in the house out of the cold in case I caught something !!

We have had some lovely weather today, really warm in the sun when out of the wind, and I managed to get a few things done.......cleaned out the airing cupboard, fixed the dishwasher on/off switch which OH had managed to break (poor design IMO), and managed to dismantle enough of the Smart to change a headlamp bulb,,,,an original....prongs that fit into the socket had been bent when it was first fitted by the look of things, this was my third attempt to remove it.
Made more progress with the birthday present, and this evening got out my 12 rung step ladder to get up to fit more powerful LEDs in some of the spotlights in the lounge. We have a very high ceiling! I had 8 to change, OH had fortunately purchased a box of 10 from Toolstation as one only lasted 5 minutes. Not cheap so will be going in past sometime to complain about that. They do however give much more light, 7watts instead of 5 watts, and the warm white colour is good.
Half way through doing that, my sister in law, who lives in Oslo, came on FaceTime, so we had a good chat . She is 78, so is also under "house arrest", only allowed out to go for essential shopping.
OH has been catching up on "household stuff" as we have not really been at home much lately....washing, drying and putting away towels and clothes, cleaning a bathroom, making dinner.......and supervising me when I was using the ladder.
Tomorrow we are apparently going to start the day, after breakfast, by tidying the sitting room. The "tidying" word is cropping up more and more!

Bright and breezy here, wind more from the south but feels very chilly. Washing blowing nicely 😀.
Day 3 of isolation plenty to do but do I fancy any of it? Probably not - that's why it's still not done! I do fancy the garden but still rather wet underfoot, chilly wind and aches from not having seriously gardened for 12 months!
Got up and put the towels in the washing machine at 5am came downstairs about 8am to find it had walked. Trying to tell me something, now have to clean top and sides before I push it back. That'll avoid other jobs for a bit. It was either an uneven load or the machine's unbalanced. More likely the latter being under this roof.
Happy Mother's Day to all mums whether you get to see yours or your offspring, I've not but had lovely chats with both not quite the same, and to and those who's mum is no longer with us 😢. My first, as with others on here, but I'm glad she's not having to be worried by this emergency.
Stay safe folk. Essential travel only 😉.
Edit good job I didn't shut the door! We have a bifold door so I think it curtailed it's travels a bit otherwise I've no idea how we'd enter the kitchen 😃. It's a galley kitchen, door into conservatory has glasses panels and hopefully we could have reached the key on the work top but opposite site to the lock. Key removed as all our locks overnight, m ore than 1 key but both on the same ring 😂. Another little job to distract me. Mind you where to put 2nd, spare, key is next dilemma 😂😂. Always something to ponder!

B2, Essex. . .Wet?😱. The world has been turned upside down😊. It’s been dry here garden wise for a while, I’ve got all the pruning done👍🏻. Although I stop short of calling the East coast the new Essex as I look soooooo not good in white stilettos😂
2 -
Yes I'm a girl from Essex- not an Essex girl 😂. Never possessed a pair of stilettos let alone white. Dont have the white teeth or fake tan either 😂. Beautifully diverse county that we are trying to reclaim! If we weren't in 'lockdown' I'd invite you and 'learn' you about our wonderful county 😉
Never known it soooo wet. To my knowledge 17 inches of rain since October. Not scientific you understand, just an 8.5 inch tub filled to the top twice and about a other 1.5 inches in it now! Still goo idle to put it away properly as it's now serving a purpose! Unheard of. I can't boost about how little rainfall we have now, we were about the same as the Sahara- hence Beth Chatto's dry garden. Bet it isn't now 😂

I’ve seen the beauty of the estuarial landscape-stunning. I will get there guaranteed👍🏻. I was playing on my 1st ever post to you when I called you an Essex Girl(teasingly) you berated me then. You’ve not changed😂😂

When you do give me a shout 😀.
Sorry but our reputation has been besmirched by that dreadful programme! Its reached New Zealand and my daughter has to defend our beautiful county 😤. When she made a speech at her wedding, they all including the bridesmaid and grooms father! Some haven't learnt succinct is best 😉, she said the same and her maid if honour said she'd never understood her comment until ........ and no she'd never heard our Kate speak or look like that or use those words 😂😂.

Managed to get out for a walk this morning as the sun is shining and the air is so clear (not much flying over or travelling on the roads.) Lovely cherry trees out in people's gardens, a few fellow dog walkers and locals out too. All keeping our distance but having a chat as we pass. Just hope it can stay like this, a total lockdown would be awful. Glad the club has got the message, finally. All of our family is affected one way or another, no doubt yours are too, hope you all have a good day.

KjellNN I' was sorting as you typed.
Washing machine cleaned found an opening I'd forgotten so that got the treatment too. Not sure what it was/is but had water and gunk in it and then 'shoved' back. Quick rinse through before I put the bedding through cant waste this glorious drying day.
Hope those with solar panels are enjoying their benefits.

Yep, we seem to have our nice Yorkshire March weather back now, at long last. Garden again for me today. Hoping to do a bit of controlled burning this evening, get the clippings pile down now it’s dried out. I have been trying to find some Crown Imperial Fritillaries I planted, back in November, they are scattered about, so I had forgotten. Located yesterday, they are now popping up! Lovely🥰

I would think this desition has been forced on the club ,and ROs post is not the real reason, as has been stated by those who know their local situation, regarding their facilities and what the add influx of tourists means to them,
And i would expect several "amendments" to be "advised" especially in regards to the CL network and seasonal pitches

Essex, a lovely county especially the North where I was born, always enjoy going back.
Looks like brother (full time MHomer) may have to come and stay with us as he is currently on a CL.
Another bright sunny day so more sorting both house and garden. Planted more veggie and flower seeds and put in greenhouse

We had a lovely holiday around several CLs a few years ago in Essex and found the people to be very warm and inviting. As Mrs WN put it "Normal Folk". I did beg to differ.
It is a varied county and there is quite a bit for us to do there. Will be back soon.
Enjoyed an couple of hours in the garden this morning but feel my back may let me know about it later. As we appear to be in for a long haul I don't feel in a rush to do everything at once.
The main access road into the North Wales, the A55, was heaving yesterday with incomers. We're full!
A few years ago the students at Bangor University put a huge sign up on the Menai Bridge saying "Angelsey Full. Go Home" A huge number of people did!
Of course it was only a stunt.

Hadn't realised you were an Essex boy 😃 they don't have the same reputation as the girls - yet 😂. I grew up towards the north of the county secondary school in Great Dunmow. Home of the Flitch Trials. Moved about from 70's onwards including London that was like being in a cage 😲. But loved the experience.
Good luck with your house guest, he can always escape to his motorhome on the drive?
Wished we had a bed to grow veg, could happen yet assuming I can get seeds! Gave that up and filled the area with flowers and shrubs when we got a motorhome 😃

Thats us now officially self isolating now too. We went away to Ayr Craigie club site on Friday with the caravan there were only 14 outfits on site very eerie feeling. As events escalated over the weekend we had already decided that we wouldn’t be going anywhere else until the situation improves and this was confirmed this morning when the warden informed us all club site are now closing sensible Decision. Easy 20 mile tow home today caravan back in its space and the car all washed. As we are in the “at risk group” messages sent to family asking them not to visit us for the next couple of weeks and the. We will re evaluate depending on the situation . Lots planned over the next few weeks now SWMBO has mentioned decorating also I want to get the garden In to shape and give the roof of the caravan a good clean at some point. Hope everyone else is finding things to fill their days.

It was my son's birthday yesterday. He turned four. We had a quiet celebration with just the three of us. Today Sam played in the garden with his new birthday present, a mud kitchen, which he absolutely loves, and we have planted some seeds to put in our new little green house. It was nice to be able to enjoy some sunshine.

Happy Birthday to Sam! How time flies - I can't believe it's actually 4 years ago now - another sign of age I guess, along with 2 of our neighbours now asking if we're ok or if we need any shopping done!
PS - hope you're going to claim to be a "key worker", Ro. Got to keep the forum running ...er...smoothly!

I did what Oneputt did the other day and had a rootle through our van to look for food, cleaning stuff and the odd loo roll. Found three liquid soap containers, one old tin of beans, a tin of tuna and half a packet of penne pasta!

We have just been out to clear our caravan. Found 1loo roll some tea bags a jar of coffee, bleach and loo cleaner. There might be a box of other things that we brought home in the autumn in the garage. I must go and check. Not another soul on the storage site. Might go out there with a flask of tea sometimes for a change of scene 😁. I have had Mother"s Day video calls from all 3 of our children and some lovely flowers delivered. Watched the live streaming of the Mother's Day service from the Cathedral this morning. Just the clergy there (at a social distance from each other) and a video made by the young choristers earlier in the week. Very emotional. 😪

Margaret discovered half a dozen tins that were in all the gubbins from the motorhome in the spare bedroom as we have emptied it for the service. Enough for a couple of days meals if need be! Resourceful lot us caravanners and motorhomers.

We did our final real shop this morning at Booths at Kirkby Lonsdale. Our son has got quite draconian and taken control. We have a farm worker 4 days a week, and alternate weekends. He goes somewhere else once a week, so are changing things round a bit. His partner is pregnant so he’s OK with it. He usually has his meals with us, but will now bring his own (not quite worked out where to eat), and my husband won’t be in the milking parlour with him (close contact space).
I will be only feeding two - May take a while to adapt!
I have three online orders booked and after that my daughter in law will shop.
incidently this was the scene at Devils Bridge near Kirkby Lonsdale this morning. Police were “advising”
We’re not really old - just in our seventies with creaky joints. An odd feeling to be considered vulnerable.
P.S. We weren’t there - photo off Police Twitter.

I know how you feel Goldie, we are also in our 70s, our bodies often agree but our brains still think we are 30 something!
We also have a draconian son, not that he is near enough to help, he has delegated that to his sister I think.
We are quite well stocked with food and other essentials at present, so all we need every few days is milk. We shall eat our way through the stuff in the freezers and cupboards first.
We emptied the van for service last month, so our spare room is a real mess. Perhaps we need to clean the van and load it up again so we can actually get into the room.
Another very sunny day, the temperature in the sitting room reached 27 degrees as we face south. A degree of tidying has been done in the sitting room, but OH is looking disapprovingly at the stuff I have not dealt with yet.....looks fine to me!
Solar panels are generating well, so OH got 2 loads of washing done. Forecast seems to be for rain here in the near future, so she is planning a blitz on paperwork next. I apparently have a LOT more tidying to do!
