Anyone else watching this history series? Very interesting, at times utterly harrowing. I like David Olusoga’s programmes, always worth tuning into, and he has such a good presentation style.
Anyone else watching this? No spoilers, as some folks might be watching on catch up. We have never watched Traitors before, so didn’t know how things worked, what to expect, etc… But I had a look at who was taking part on this first ever Celebrity version (being very wary of most of the D list celebs on most “celebrity”…
We were looking forward to this new series about the formation of the SAS, sadly didn’t enjoy it due to the sound quality. Did anyone else see it and have the same problem? If it wasn’t the background music being too loud, it was the mumbling speech. Will try another week and see if things improve. Perhaps it’s an age…
Are many of you fans of this police series? Series one was on the BBC but for some reason series two has been slow to come to terrestrial TV but is now being shown on U&Drama. The star of the drama is Nicola Walker who plays Detective Inspector Annika Strandhed of the Glasgow's Marine Homicide Unit, she goes to work in a…
Anyone else watched this? We stuck it out to the end, but have to say we were rather underwhelmed on a number of levels. Doubt we would tune in for a second series.
It’s back! Good to see the series return to our screens. Educational, informative, inspirational and above all thought provoking. It’s good that the presenters are not afraid to broach controversial issues and provide critical information and so prompt proper debate. Anything that makes us think about our planet and the…

This is how IMBd describe the series "Against the backdrop of the historic city of York, detective Bea Metcalf forms an unlikely duo with young autistic police archivist Patience Evans, opening a door into a whole new world for Patience." It seems to…
Just wondered what people thought of the Christmas offerings? Were some of the shows over hyped? Of them all I think I liked Wallace and Gromit the best! Out Numbered was quite interesting as all the kids are now grown up, but listen carefully and Karen's voice is still the similar to when she was younger. Wasn't sure…
I have been following this series on many different aspects of our countryside, and today I listened to one which would I think before special interest to MILLIEHULL (can't get the @milliehull to work whatever I do!!) It is entitled Tales from the Quoile Riverbank. There is one that should be of interest to both…
PLEASE NO SPOILERS Anyone else watching the latest series of Wolf Hall (The Mirror and the Light)? We thoroughly enjoyed the first series, broadcast in 2015, and have managed to visit quite a few of the filming locations since then. It’s a true feast for history lovers, and a very good adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s…
