Looks like an Iveco 4 x 4 from Motorcraft Adventure

If it follows the trend of other vehicles of its type, the price will be well north of £150k and might even exceed £200k.

EDIT: Just seen a FB comment from the converters confirming it is circa £200k

@JimE thanks for that. Expedition vehicle I am guessing.

Coo……..the converters are a mere ten miles from our home. Might have a look when out there. Not that we could afford one mind🤣 would like to see inside. Good spot Nellie 👍

Tescos' normal Monday 9am - 10% in car park. Tesco 2 days before Christmas 9am - 95% in car park.

There was an awful lot of untrained husbands pushing trolleys today. Though I'd stumbled onto a film set whilst they were making a new horror film "Christmas Zombies".😱 Fortunately we escaped fairly quickly. On the way out we thought there may be divorce proceedings starting between one couple as she insisted they needed 3 fair sized bags of Sprouts, not just the 1 he'd put in the trolley! He looked mortified.

Fairly dull cold day weather wise.

Shopping in a supermarket is always interesting the nearer you get to Christmas. I think what happens is people shop on a different days to their normal shop which means you see a lot of people you don't usually see. We ventured into Waitrose about midday. Car park nearly full. The strange thing about MK Waitrose is that you can enter from two directions so the cars meet in the middle almost. I am not sure what people's expectation is of their Christmas diet is but the toilet roll isle was almost empty! Some wag of a customer had thought it a good idea to move some other merchandise into the empty space, and it wasn't me!!!!

Popped down to Asda for some last minute bits and pieces, as you do. It was absolutely heaving! Still, all done now. Tomorrow we’ll be starting the big ‘prep’, we have 10 for Christmas dinner. Get the lamb out of the freezer (not a fan of Turkey), peel 30 spuds, peel the swede, prep the cauliflower cheese, make the trifle and on and on… I do though like doing it, providing for others (family) 🙂

Not much to do before Christmas now. Still thinking of maybe heading out in the van later in week wil see what weather is like as it’s been very windy here over the weekend not weather for towing

It is an Iveco, but is English registered, 2008 model. They did have a small car too, for running around in. I didn't get a chance to ask the owner about it unfortunately.

We moved up to our next site this morning, where we will spend Christmas, as we did last year. The roads around Crewe were very busy and the M6 even more so, but thankfully we were only on from one junction to the next. This time the site is full, and have changed over to metered EHU, so it will be interesting how much electric we use. It had stayed dry for most of the day but started to drizzle in the late afternoon.

Looks lovely. We used to enjoy early December at Castleton, lots of lights then as well.

Just want to wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas, and all the best from us two🎅🎅

Love the photos @richardandros . The lights look wonderful. We never went away for Christmas when we had our caravan but often went away for New Year. Great fun. We also used to go to Chatsworth when we had our motorhome. Loved it there.

We did our Aldi big shop on Friday. It was very busy but not too bad as they had all their tills open. On Sunday we went to Waitrose to get our fresh stuff and although very busy was not as bad as feared. I couldn't believe how many sprouts some people had in their trolleys! Yesterday we went over to the other side of town to meet our grand-daughter and gt grandson to visit Father Christmas with them (his daddy was hoping to join us but couldn't get the time off work 🙁) and unfortunately had to go past the big Tesco Extra - the traffic was absolutely manic. Held up for ages in a traffic jam. But when we eventually got to see Father Christmas it was a great success. There was a little 'forest' with 'snow' to go through before we reached the Big Man and they had games for the children to play. The elves were brilliant. Gt grandson had a long chat with Father Christmas and told him what he was going to leave out for him and only asked for cars for Christmas (more cars!🙄). We then had to brave the traffic jams to get back home again. I am glad we weren't planning on going to Tesco. OH and I have been for a little walk in Ferry Meadows this morning. It was so lovely to see so many families out enjoying themselves. Very mild here today.

    Have a great Christmas everyone.🎅🎄

May the force be with you @richardandros 😂 It would look good on the Merry Christmas thread as well as here.

Having the day off after collecting some prescription meds this morning.

Hope all food stuff has been remembered. Take care folks and try to relax and enjoy it.

Just as an aside, you may recall that I was seeking some advice on non slip bath mats. Well we found one which passed the Royal Approval, aka MiL. We got it from Amazon, regretfully but essentially. It's a Mott Loofah Bath Mat if anyone interested.

Looking very festive there @richardandros . We never went away over Christmas or new year.

@milliehull we're you coming Serpentine Green way? Oh FB age had a photo of queues heading from our way. Getting very nearly back towards to A1M on Sunday.

We are just loosing a stunning sunset, was from the south round to the north super pink and orange.

Enjoyed a lovely carol service on Sunday, our new vicar is pulling them in! Christmas story told in chocolate 😂,earned her a few groans 🫣

It's been incredibly mild here, I'm glad I remembered and just had a gilet on for the dog walk. Sadly everywhere is incredibly mucky underfoot. Well trodden paths require lots of care. I even noticed some hoof prints had slides!

Just want to wish everyone and very peaceful Christmas, may you have everything you need.

I’m sorry I have some devastating news to share. I don’t know how we’re going to manage this Christmas, knowing that from now on it will never be the same.
We have lost someone who has been part of my Christmas for 76 years. And my father’s before that.
Yes, Father Christmas has suffered a fatal accident .
A sudden fall from a height, as the tree he was watching over fell to the ground.
Most of him has been swept away, but a part of him is keeping an eye on my desk.

@Goldie146 devastating 😢. I'm glad he'll be on your desk as a reminder.

I hung my plastic, possibly bakerlite, red bell on the tree again this year. Given to me by my Nana on my first Christmas- not quite so many years yet.

I've made all my grandchildren advent calendars and gave them each a Christmas tree ornament. Hopefully they too will remember even if it is only once a year!

Just settled down to watch Carols from Kings, so Christmas is on it’s way.

Change of plan for tomorrow as grandtwins and daddy are unwell so we will be at home

Thankfully brothers and sister in law out of hospital.

BTW a balmy 13C here today, beats the cold NE winds

    Merry Christmas all

Aw, that’s awful. We have some decades old tree decorations on Mum’s tree. Very fragile. I think one dates from the 1920’s, it was bought for my Aunt who was my Mum’s half sister (her Dad was killed in WW1 and Nan remarried). My first knitted bootee is on there as well. We have a knitted Fireman at the top of our tree🤣

I think our gt grandson was watching Santa's Tracker. Last I heard he was over Russia but that was about teatime.

Sorry to hear about your change of plan @Oneputt . I hope the family recover soon so you can have belated celebrations with them. We always watch Carols from Kings. That is the start of Christmas for us.

@Oneputt very pleased to read that your brothers and SIL are out of hospital. Shame about the twins and their daddy are not well, hope they soon recover. Enjoy your day anyway and best wishes.

Lots appear to have been very busy preparing for tomorrow, hope all goes to plan and there are no more unfortunate accidents, and no fallings out!!

It has been warn here too and after a dull start we had some late afternoon sunshine and a quite spectacular sunset. We didn't venture far with a few walks around the site's footpaths and a quick call at Aldi for bread and milk, and of course a few other items fell into the trolly!

All our best wishes everyone for tomorrow. Merry Christmas.

Earlier on during our present trip we had a walk on Kinver Edge, past the rock houses which were unfortunately not open during the week. However I came across this interesting article today about them, and though others might be interested in it especially if they intended visiting them.

This morning's walk was from the carpark at Redes Mere, where we then had a picnic before returning to the site for another walk and then major preparations for our Xmas Dinner. It has been another fine sunny day with no breeze, although the sky turned red again it didn't last for long, but we have been entertained by the calling of at least one pair of Tawney Owls since it turned dark.

The photo below is of Redes Mere and some of the many birds waiting for their Christmas Dinner
