I have to say Seacroft is in my top five sites but then I used a SP at the top end. Close to the town centre and beach and the heated swimming pool was really excellent, we had the 'kids' with us and they enjoyed the bar. We did drive to Incleboro Fields to have a look and it appeared Ok but far too much grass for our liking and it was just too far away from the beach.

As said good that there is a good choice in a few miles to suit everyone.

Corners, Incleboro has a nice beach within easy walking distance.

Unlike Marazion which isn't really in Marazion. wink

    Our HS pitch wasn't serviced.

In truth, we hated the place and will never return.

In contrast, Marazion is a little gem of peace and beauty, even if you do have to drive to reach the beach.

It is just a pity it is not open a little longer into the year then I would use it in preference to Godrevy.

Like Godrevy, it’s all grass but, whereas Godrevy is on fast draining sandy soil, Marazion is further inland and gets muddy and boggy. I think that's the reason for the short season.

It isn’t near Penzance either, which seems to be the latest selling ploy from the Club😂

Sited on Marazion as I write. Just discovered this lovely site. Indeed a gem. Currently pretty much full. So pretty! Amazing sunsets! No hardstandings make for a really relaxed feel. Walk into Marazion down quiet country lane about 40 minutes. Been told it's not financially viable. Very sad, would seem that our first visit will be our last but have to admit we are among several we have spoken to who wouldn't be here under normal circumstances! Would definitely use it for short breaks if we lived closer.

LesandAng, Have a look at Dove Meadows site nearby while you are in the area - and see if that suits you for next year after the Club site closes .

I doubt the Club will fight hard to keep this little gem. Not with Godrevy down the road😡 Could be a lovely little partnership with NT if it’s the leasehold costs. They have some clout with St Aubyn Estates.

It’s a grand little Site isn’t it L&A. We have used it for well over 30 years. I for one would like some response about what is going on with this Site. Why the Club has to lapse into silence when Members are concerned about losing yet another Site isn’t in the best interests of a institution that relies greatly upon fee paying Members. Very annoying.

It’s not hard at all PD. I had forgotten about this Site, not one I would want to use July/August in school holidays, but very nice. Easy walk into Marazion itself, right along seashore.

No, it's fine. It's Cornish lanes but not particularly narrow ones.

Chiverton Farm CL looks nice, think I'd prefer it as you can walk to Prussia Cove. The Marazion site has alway been on the wrong side of the coastal route for me.

Anyway, I hope the club repsonds as it's never good for to leave the customers and membership fee payers in the dark although I realise there are legal restrictions in some contracts.

When will the club learn this basic rule that I've kept to

always tell people quickly freely and frankly anything they can easily find out any other way

Hi everyone, the situation is that we are currently on a rolling lease with the landlord of the site, which means we are working on a year to year basis. As such we cannot yet confirm if the Marazion Club Site will remain open next year but as soon as we have more information we will share this with you.

I hope that translates to, it is not the Club's desire to close it.

Surely it would make sense to put this under site information on the Marazion site page. Rather than just show it closed for bookings next year.🤔

Can’t remember what it’s called but there’s a seasonal campsite in the field beyond the long-stay car park which caters for vehicles 6m+. Basic facilities but great view over the bay and Mount. Easy stroll into Marazion.

Great location Nellie. There are some fabulous walks in this area, not all coastal either, although you are never far from coast of course😁 Pack your swimming gear as well, we have had some very warm October’s down there👍
