Granny's teeth are in good condition: she obviously laid off the nugget and brushed regularlysmile Is there a place called 'Grannismouth' - that would answer the question 'where are these teeth.

That's part of the Cobb at Lyme Regis. We have a photo of it somewhere taken quite a while ago so not on our computer.

BTW it was the river Rhone, and it wasn't really a 'Nougat Factory', it's a nuclear power stationsurprised Don't want to be accused of 'Fake Nukes'!

Yes, of course, we were there last year!

So here’s another easy one, taken early September, last year.

My grandfather was a Victorian coast guard in Lyme and my Aunt was born there, somewhere I like to visit. My son took the photo. smile

I thought it looked like a bit over the top for a chewy nougat plant! laughing

That was sneaky, Pliers. My immediate thought was Rio.

    Same language!

Nowhere near as spectacular as the statue on Corcovado, but I’m glad I’m not in Rio at the moment. 😢

So which city would you find this Flying Cow in? Just to show it was friendly Mrs WN gave it a pat ( which the cow reciprocated but at the other end.surprised)

Oh no, Lockdown Syndrome strikes once more  😱

I’m getting a very strong urge to google cows again 🐄

Maybe another glass of wine will help!

Never fear Pliers. I've only got another 10 photos of cows to go.smile Lockdown might have finished by then.

I'll give you a clue. It's possible City have played there in the CL. So that should narrow it down to about 50 or so.

The buildings look like some of those in the Delfshaven area of Rotterdam 🤔

Looks more like a water buffalo than a cow WN, if it is, then would there be marsh land or mozzarella around?

    peedee

    P.S. is it Salerno?

Peedee, it is a water buffalo but as Pliers was already into googling cows I didn't want her to get distracted.smile

Not Salerno, or Rotterdam, though and as far as I know there isn't a lot of marsh land in the immediate area. No idea why they chose to instal these in the middle of a major city. It's in the square next to a cathedral.

I know, Wherenext, it’s the view from my house and I should appreciate it more.  But I’m itching to get back on the road again.

There's a good sculpture of bulls being herded outside the Plaza De Toros in Alicante but the cathedral isn't there and a water buffalo would look out of place.

Here's a photo from the other side of the country 'FoC'. Taken from Cath's office window just before she retired in 2004. We're now into year 16 of our 5 year retirement plan ( with temporary halt in proceedings!). Can anyone name that bridge?

Is it Rome then? Got to be Italian.

This one is quite famous but they are not normally this colour.

The only one I know which looks anything like that is Knaresborough but on my photos there is no church at one end of it.

I had just come across the old photo and thought some Scot would know the answer ( FoC for instance). It's a bit unfair unless you know Edinburgh well. The bridge is just 5 minutes from Prince's Street, spanning the Water of Leith.

    Yes it is Italian.

It's Turin, which as I said wouldn't be the first thought for Marshland and Water Buffalos. Maybe it's something to do with Mozzarella?
