Yes, we’ve been to Turin for the footy, about 5 years ago. Definitely didn’t see any water buffalo sculptures, but did see the shroud, well just the replica,  not the real one, it doesn’t come out very often.
Here’s a photo of the match at wonderful Juventus. 🐄⚽️🙂

Well that would explain why you didn't see them. They were installed in 2016. An indirectly sneaky question.smile

Dean Bridge?  I love Edinburgh, beautiful city.  Great club site too!

BTW my bridge is the Dean Bridge, and it and the Dean Village below are well worth a visit when you're next in Edinburgh on holiday (gosh - holidays?)

This is part of an art  exhibition on show at Turin university when we were there.

    More scary than the cows!

    No. It's in the UK.

No idea where your campsite is though.

Does anybody  recognise this very busy beach?

Not Dorset last weekend, photo was taken 3 years ago.

    🙂

Wouldn't recognise any beach but feel I should know the "fort" on the skyline.

Have to let the grey cells do some work behind the scene.

Well it wasn't the one I was trying to remember! Never been to San Sebastian.

My mind will still be trying to remember a place that doesn't need remembering now.yellsmile

San Sebastián is worth a visit, if only for the brilliant pintxos bars.

The campsite is undoubtedly overpriced, but very handy for the bus into the centre.

Not far from Bilbao, good stopover on the way to South Western France.....

Sorry Pliers, forgot all about it.embarassed

It was a person of power, no longer with us, who when not working was often still "All at Sea". It's in the south of England. His power was mainly in the 70s.

Edit - I used to enjoy Tapas Bars as I like Spanish food but with now having an allergy I don't trust eating places so much so tend to avoid them now.

Looking through old photos for 'bridges' - an earlier theme on this thread - I came across a photo from 2006, taken on our way to the Cinque Terre. At the time we took the photo because we thought "how ugly and how awful to live in the apartments below" I now recall. Gave me a bit of a shock when I recognized it from later news coverage. I'll put it up here for interest not competition, it's Genoa.
