you're kidding right? a twist in the final line but hardly being a genius?

OK add one line to make this statement true;
I0 I0 I0 = 9:50

well you were as you put it on but no it's good just not genius that's all.
OK sorry, to make amends one just for you.
You get your electric bike out on a site an cycle at an average speed of 10mph along a straight road. you then turn around and cycle back to the site at an average speed of 20 mph (do you want this in Km/h btw)
what is your average speed overall?
0 -
now that is good

This is fun, thanks BB
230 takeaway 220 divided by 2
Believe it or not the answer is 5!

Ok get a scientific calculator (or tip your phone sideways in calculator mode) look for the ! button then do 5! and see what the answer is

I will when you work out your average speed
but as a hint to yours your are solving:
3x = 21
2y+x =19
z+ y + x = 15
but the final twist is finding x + 2z(y-1)

indeed and it works for any distance, d, as it cancels out when you solve
average speed = 2d/(d/10+d/20)
I could say that you wouldn't get full marks in an exam question as you only gave a third to 2 dp, ie 13 and 33 hundredths, when really it is 0.3 recurring, (neither would 13.333 but 13.3333 would have got the mark according to exam board marking rules) but that would be nitpicking to say that so I won't.
You should retrain

yes, 5! = 5x4x3x2x1 = 120
If you had five different caravans, sorry motorhomes, and want to know any many ways there are of arranging them in a row then there are 120 different ways of doing it.

x=7, y=6, z=2 and final answer is 27
