Got back from Fisher Field yesterday after a great weekend away.  Downside is van is filthy bit that will have to wait, more important jollities to enjoytongue-out House more or less decorated although not bothering with outside

    Hmm just picked up new  website 😕. It keeps eating my words. Not at this stage incredibly small.

    Also having a look at the new website having failed earlier.  We seem to be starting this thread from scratch again, no bad thing I suppose.  I am pleased they have done away with the star system.  Don't feel up to trying to post a photo just yet.  I might get my courage up and try later.smile I have just discovered there are only 2 emojies, the rest seem to have disappeared. Oh and the spell checker seems to be working.smile. Why have we got a P in the bottom left hand corner? undecided  Another emoji has appeared.

    At least you can now post pics from your PC/laptop albeit that it has to be reduced in size to 500KB.

    The link to update profile info. is there, but updates do not seem to take.

    Hopefully the site will continue to improve

    Made a start on putting up the Christmas decorations, looks very festive!

    Booked flights and hotel for the Champions' League match in March, Monaco v Man City. Cost loads more than for Barcelona, and Celtic, but we did go in the 'van for the Celtic game! Fingers crossed for match tickets.

    Getting my head round the new website!

    again  embarassed   !!

    Now,  like  others  I'm  trying  out  this  new  site  but  it  seems  that  the  page  numbers  are  still  only  at  the  bottom  of  the  page,  so  when  the  threads  start  growing  I'll  still  be  tabbing  down  time  and  time  again.

    So  --  Only  marginally  impressed  this  far  !

    and  now  cannot  put  this  post  on  the  thread   GRRRRR

    Don't know what has happened but your post repeats 16 times!!!surprised

    I'm finding it better to look around the new web site and concentrate on one or two things of interest til I understand it a bit better.

    I'm with Brue on sticking to two threads, not simple surprised, or maybe it's me that is??

    Nice to see some 'old' faces back here, no Malcolm hope he's ok.

    Definitely prefer to use on laptop to Kindle (site eats my words on it yell - comments on the new website thread)  much easier to see clearly and navigate whilst I get to grips with new site.

    Off to peg out washing, sun is out laughing and make mince pies before going to the dentist.  Beautiful full moon this morning as I got up about 7am.

    Milliehull I don't follow discussions, too many emails in inbox!  So can't help - I miss the box on righthandside of my latest threads.  I have written about it on new website page.  Maybe you should comment on there re emails.  Some comments are attracting a reply.  It's on ask the expert live section.

    Thanks Bakers.  I will give it a go later.  Just waiting for our hairdresser to arrive at the moment.  Lovely sunny day here which makes a lovely change after a few days of grey and mist. Hope more of the old faces find us.smile
