    Hi, I'am finally back. smile

Returned form a wonderful Christmas break at Castleton smile to find a great new forum, undecided well it would have been, was able to log on but unable to post, yell don't think my tablet and the new website were compatible, very frustrating! Got it sussed eventually, was able to check out the new website while I worked out a fix. haven't decided whether I'am impressed or not. undecided

Have been extra busy at work, and at home with loads of washing which I am trying to get dry., The engineers are coming tomorrow to fit the new part to the tumble dryer - yipee!! smile

Caravan is filthy, don't suppose there is much point in washing it as it will have to be returned to storage at the weekend. No more breaks until next year now.

Hope you enjoy the school play Millie, and Brue hope you find a bargain in Lidl.

Is  that the Yeovil one?  We have friends there and they were saying a new one was about to open.

Our store is old and fairly small, but we visited one of the new style ones when we were on holiday in September......huge range of products compared to ours.  Unfortunately no space where ours is to build a new one.

We love both Aldi and Lidl. Great bargains to be had.  I have just returned from Aldi and they have some wonderful Christmas food.

The school play was wonderful.  The children were all great - 5 and 6 year olds and all word perfect and some had great acting skills.laughing  Our little angel was wonderful.smile  The teacher stood on a table at the back of the hall directing them all the way through.  Everyone must have worked so hard. Not a dry eye in the house.

Glad you had a wonderful time in Castleton Helen.

Really pleased the play went well Millie, I love watching children perform too,  smile

Must admit I like Aldi, great bargains.

Our son has just sent me the pictures he took in and around Castleton while we were there, got to sort mine, may even be able to post one on here now!

Just done my new Lidl trip, spent more than intended of course! It is indeed the new Yeovil shop Kj, I think your friends will be suitably impressed. It has been very well designed, pleasant lighting and colours,  lovely wide isles, no overhead pricing banners, good layout and even has unisex loos.

Hmm I'm all Lidl-ed out must recover now and start some serious pre-Christmas house tidying.wink

Yes, very easy to spend more than one intends!

OH was just out for odds and ends, including stamps for our cards, stamps cost 4 times as much as the cards, she is still in shock!

Looks like one of those blips that are part of the changeover. I don't know whether anyone has mentioned the missing avatar photos on the New Website discussion bit, might be worth a try?

I will now confess I came back with a two hob electric plate from the Lidl expedition this morning, at the princely price of £9.99. Handy for outdoor vanning but we need one for nearly finished garden room conversion (I tell myself...wink)

We got a great table top oven from Lidl a few weeks ago for £39.99 brue. It will be very useful for extra oven space on Christmas day and also to take away in the caravan in the summer so we can cook (by electric wink) in the awning.laughing

You're right! I bought a few sets of Chrismas lights, the batteries cost far more than the lights!

Bring back the Blank Page! (Only joking, I think)

Busy getting around to elderly relatives and card delivery for the house bound. Keeps me off the street!

Got a hair trim so that I'm spick and span for visit to Nellie tomorrow.

Our Lidl had a facelift a few months ago. Looks great now. Actually prefer their fresh produce to Aldi but buy quite a few bits and pieces like coffee, mayo and dried fruit from Aldi.

Also busy sorting out Mrs.WNs pension options (don't tell anyone but its a big birthday soon).

Arrived at Sothport mid day on Wednesday. Had been suffering from a virus, was still a little weak, every time I coughed my chest and bach ached with congested lungs. Good news is it was an easy drive, nice day, and started a 4 day high dose sterkid treatment and an inhailer. Now feel much better after 2nd day of tablets and inhaler. Can breathe near normally, can cough without pain .... thank you to our practice nurse. I had overslept the daybeforeour trip and alldoctors appointments were gone but I was able too see Candice, our practice nurse, who is able to prescribe.

Decided I might as well recover here as at ho e and I am feeling much better. laughing

It's a fine morning here, at the moment. It's still almost pitch black and I've just seen our two grandsons walk through the yard and down the lane to get the school bus into town. Laden down with back packs as big as themselves.

Still not very light here, only a few more days til the turn around and then lengthening days ahead. smile

The puppy picture looks sweet....looks very peaceful asleep, probably a whirlwind when awake?

End of busy week here, going out tonight to a Christmas concert at our local theatre.

Waiting for OH to come back from showers so we can eat. Probably go out about 10 am to Formby Point to watch the red squirrels armed with a bag of peanuts in shells and then stop off for a coffee.
