May have to refurnish the office after all the carpet chewing that this site has engendered. Are you all enjoying playing "Spot the glitch'?

It was so dark and grey here yesterday that when I went to collect our grandson from his after school club at 4.00pm we were all peering through the gloom in the playground to see which child we wanted to collect.  It doesn't look as though it is going to be much better today.  It is very misty here at the moment and I can hardly see across the road. Roll on the 21st when the days start getting a bit longer.

He is an addition. They already have a three year old dog of the same breed so at the moment they are exploring who rules what!!! He is seriously cute and falls over quite a lot in his enthusiasm to competesmile

By the way very cute puppy David.smile

Oh well done Goldie.  You've mastered the art of posting a photo.  I had quite a few goes at re-sizing, failed and then decided that life was too short.yell

Yes  I'm  Still  Around  Redface  wink  but  Thanks  for  caring  kiss

After  the  "Opening  Day"  session  with 16  repeats  of  a  post  of

mine,  I  decided  that  you  all  needed  a  rest  from  me  for  a  while

    embarassed.  ( Giggle  Giggle  Titter  !! )

Been  a  touch  under  the  weather  and  not  really  fit  company  for  anybody,  but  much

better  now,  even  tho'  I'm  still  Grouchy / Grumpy  as  befits  my  general  nature.

Seen  the  family ( Aged  Sister )  but  she's  got  the  Lurgy  now  so  it's  going  to  be  a

    touch  more  house  work  I  reckon,  so  I'll  be  as  bad  tempered  as  ,, ,, ,, ,, ,, ,, ,,

    Cracking  Great  Piccy,  Goldie  !!

I  do  like  the  ability  to  "Click  To  Enlarge"  your  photos,  and  then  to    slide  the  bar  along  to  see  the  rest  of  the  photo  in  the  same  scale/resolution.  That  Seems  To  Be  AN IMPROVEMENT  !!

P.S.  Were  you  forewarned  about  the  Great  Pie  Launch  from  Wigan,  ??  It  seemed  that  it  rose  to  almost  30,000  feet  before  returning  to Earth,  over  t'  Border  into  Yorkieland,  but  it  was  recovered  before  the  Tykes  could  take  it  away and  copy  it  !

Only  minor  damage  occurred  --> Lid  came  off,  it  split  in  two,  but  the  dogs  round  there  won't  have  eaten  any  crumbs  tho'  unless  they  thought  it  was  an  early  Christmas  Present  !!

Came home from work early , not feeling too good, sore throat and a cold.😢 Not what I need this close to Christmas.

OH is mending the tree lights, as usual not working when you get them out from last year, even though they were when they were packed away!

    That one didn't need resizing.

I opened Twitter on my Ipad. Found a photo my son had tweeted - pressed the photo and selected "save".

Then just posted as normal - still from the Ipad. I did have to press "add photo" several times. I'm not sure how much you're supposed to press. Light touch? Heavy touch?

Earlier today I posted a photo in the "How to  . . " thread.

This time from my Windows 7. desktop. I used paint.net to resize to 500 pixels wide, and just added, using the "add photo" button.

    Easy Peasy!

I used to like Windows 7 for photos, I don't find 10 as easy because of the albums,. The photos look nice there but you have to go back into file explorer to re-size them (well I do..wink

That's me for today, OH is still outside tiling a floor. I've already been told off for walking in the wrong place.laughing

Have a good evening one and all. smile

My youngest grandson brought the dreaded lurgey home from school last weekend. OH and I have been suffering all week. It's taken a superhuman effort to get up and do the physio exercises four times a day. We're both not 100% yet. 🤒

Enyoyed a couple of hours stroll at Formby Point. The red squirell population has really increased again after the decimation 6 or 7 years ago due to the squirrel pox. Lovely to watch. Had a nice lunch at Lady Green garden centre restaraunt. Will have a simple snacky tea later.

We are both OK, but SIL was laid low yesterday.  He had to come home from  school (he is a teacher), but seemed much better by early evening.

It was OH's birthday, so DD had invited us for dinner.

We had a lovely meal prepared by DD, Sainsbury Moussaka, special leaf/ goats cheese/ sweet potato etc salad, garlic bread and balsamic vinegar.   Followed by Aldi chocolate and single cream.

She had candles on the cake and a sparkler, so was really interesting!

Well, at least you have 9 days to get over it  - so maybe a good thing.

I certainly wouldn't wish to end up with a bug much closer to the festive period.

Good luck Papgeno I hope you pull through quickly and are back on your feet soonest.

We have a DIL  who is a primary teacher, and a SIL who is a secondary teacher, they both bring home bugs from school.

They seem to have developed some resistance to these school bugs, but our son and daughter  have not, so they get laid low by these bugs

Then they pass them to their own children, who go to a different school.so they then fall ill.

Had a busy day today. Out and about in the morning , ticking off quite a few things that needed to be done before Chrimbo, then we took ourselves off to visit Nellie and Mrs.Nellie on their current CL for an enjoyable couple of hours putting the world to rights, then more box ticking on the way home, cooked dinner and now putting my feet up.

Take care anyone venturing out tomorrow into the throng of people who will be starting to panic.

We saw them last week, ET, after a long walk on the sands. We were surprised how many there were and that most of them appeared nearer black than red though
