@Rowena I too have seen problems, as this section is still showing that the latest post was made on the 3rd June by @nelliethehooker (myself) when it is blatantly obvious that that is not the case. Would you be so good as to tell us what is happening, as you have promised in the past to keep us up to date? There is a problem too with the headings not appearing in bold type in some sections when new posts have been made, which is handy in signifying that.
Also are those in IT any further forward with providing a link to the latest sites reviews as was the case with the last version of CT in the Latest Activity section?

@Rowena could you please explain why the last post above, by @Wherenext, is showing as having been submitted in 3rd June and not with today's date, and why the heading was not in bold type, when unread, as most other ones with new posts are? I only found these new, today's, posts as it were listed under the notification bell!!

@Rowena the post above is showing on my Kindle as having been made on June 3 2025 ( as is this one)!! Can you find out why please as there is now way of knowing when current posts are submitted without visiting each open section.

@Rowena What is this email that I received late yesterday saying that I have been "Promoted to Forum Participant", as I have been posting on CT since Nov 16, 2016 and have made over 14.5k comments?

I think you have been proved right @nelliethehooker. Hardly anyone is posting anything of interest these days. I do not believe it is hard to navigate, certainly no harder than other forums. Other forums have also seen a downturn while others have blossomed. Maybe it is because there are too many ways of communicating on the internet these days with many offering a much lighter moderation touch which can make them more "interesting" to follow? Facebook might have a lot to do with it? Its tough to judge the reasons why some are thriving and others are so little used, anyone else got any thoughts?

@peedee perhaps part of the reason is that not all discussions with new posts are highlighted, this one wasn't, and it is not showing today's date either but the 27th September for some reason! Hence I for one could not see that a new post had occurred & perhaps others are just ignoring some posts in which they had posted so have given up altogether!
Edit This post too is showing as having been posted on 27th September!!😮
It would be nice if @Rowena could please explain these discrepancies!!

It is odd @DSB but I've just encountered the same problem on the What are you up to thread, yet when "quoting"your reply to @Lutz it did work.
If you are still having problems @Lutz you might be able to highlight the text, copy it and paste it, as we used to do on the previous forum. You should then be given options to Bold type, Italicise etc. I would suggest you get in touch with @Rowena about it though.
