@Rowena the banner for this post is still showing the incorrect date for the last post, and has been doing so for months. All the other posts seem to show the latest post's as below...I didn't intend including you photo, sorry (photo edited/removed by DSB as it wasn't intended - hopefully @Rowena will spot this problem and report it to the developers)

I think it has been reported before but it is very annoying so I am raising it again. On my Android devices when starting a new paragraph an additional letter is added.
LLike this and when I try and use the @ symbol letters are also added and because of the corruption it does not work. It is all very annoying having to try and over ride these problems.
@roror in this example I tried to type atrowena!

@peedee I had similar issues on my Android device whilst using Firefox. I was advised to try Chrome instead and things did improve.
HHowever, as you can see, I still get the additional letter at times, not always, and sometimes I still have to try and get the name after the @ symbol, as it doesn't always work first time. So whilst it works better on Chrome than Firefox for me, it still isn't totally without problems.
@nnellienelliethe hooker - this is what I got just now in trying to get nth's name up, I'll try again.
@nelliethehooker that's better, but it took 3 attempts; I just checked and the date is still showing as 4 March, despite 2 posts today.

II too have the same problem, and with the @ symbsymbol some times a doubling up of more than one letter. To avoid this I tend to find a previous post where the person I want to name has been highlighted correctly and then copy and paste that link.

This forum seem to me to be dying a slow death. Ever since its much heralded announcement there has been a steady dropoff of both posts and contributors. Even some of those that were part of the group selected to scrutinize it before it's release no longer posts. Whatever the foibles of the old version, members regularly contributed on a steady basis but no longer! I for one find it much harder to navigate, and don't understand the need for all the badges etc attached to each member's profile.

I've always found it a little more difficult to navigate @nelliethehooker, but I do tend to rely on emails. I have it set up to send me an email everytime anyone posts. If I want to respond, I can then click on the 'Check it Out' button, which takes me straight to the post/ section. These days, many posts are from the 'What are you up to...' thread.
I guess you will agree that posting photos is so much easier, although, unlike many others, I still need to resize. I think this is to do with the size of the photos my phone takes.
Don't know about badges.... don't take much notice of them tbh. 🤣

@DSB I too have to resize my photos to get them to download, I take them on my phone and so have to change to that to post them rather than use my kindle, which is the normal way I communicate. I like to see what has been posted, and by whom, so don't want to just rely on email notifications....I get enough of them as it is!!
These recent posts are showing as having been made on Mar 4th which is obviously ridiculous and this has been pointed out to Rowena on a number of occasions but without anything being done about it. Therefore It is not possible to see when a recent post has been made in this section if not others.

@nelliethehooker - my machine is showing later dates. Last one before yours from today from @peedee shows May 13.
I agree with you about number of posters. I thought the forum was going to be more widely promoted. I seem to recall @ Rowena mentioning it early on but I haven't seen anything along that line.

Both on iPhone and Kindle the ladt post by @peedee is still showing the Mar 4th date!! The silence from HO is deafening.

Just noticed a peculiarity. I check my notifications when something shows up. Tonight it was showing 2 latest posts on 2 different threads, both with the avatar of @Takethedogalong (the one with the tree on Hadrians wall) yet Ttda wasn't the poster who made those posts at that time, it was 2 different posters with the times shown when they made the posts. So why would it show a different poster?
No big problem in the grand scheme but a bit puzzling.

Another problem for me. I have tried to edit my post in the "Giro" discussion but the script won't appear and I cannot access the Leave a Comment box to add a new post either!

Thanks @DSB it has done similar for me when trying to edit my latest post in the Osprey thread. It is difficult to try and explain exactly what happened but the edited post did not appear once posted, but is there now!!🤔

@DSB - I think what Nellie is getting at is that the front page showing all recent threads shows the date of 4th.March all the time so it's difficult to know if there any new posts without actually going into it. The actual posts in this thread show current dates or time if made today but Nellie is referring to the main front page. I think that's what's going on but I'm sure he'll let us know if that's not the case.

I wasn’t sure if this was the place to post this, but having read some of the comments already here I guess this is the place..
A few years ago I would regularly look at the club together pages and occasionally even make a post. You could always guarantee that there would be lots of new posts each time I looked, especially on the foreign travel section that interested me most. During and after the pandemic I didn’t visit the pages much but started again last year.
I have been very surprised to notice the big drop in ‘traffic’ and smaller number of responses to the fewer topics that seem to get posted. There has obviously been a lot of back and forth over the new design, but surely the new design cannot be the reason for such a big drop off in numbers of members using club together….

I think you are correct @Norfolk Hawker. I think any drop off is little to do with the new CT. One of the problems could well be that the folk who have been on CT for years, in many cases no longer need to ask the technical/ advice type of questions. These folk more often post on the 'What are you up to...." thread, which tends to be more of a 'social gathering'....
It would be really good to get some new posters.... although I know some prefer to use other types of social media for caravanning/ motorhoming information e.g. Facebook. It's difficult to judge how many folk look but don't post. I come to CT several times everyday, but may not post more than once or twice.... and very occasionally I skip a day without posting....
Everyone is still welcome on CT... Hope to see more of your posts @Norfolk Hawker 🙂

Apologies of you know this already @nelliethehooker but just thought I'd mention it if it helps....
One thing I rely on for CT posts is emails. I have my preferences set up so that I get an email everytime anyone posts, so I tend not to trawl through. It means I get lots of emails, but I use them mainly for checking, and just respond to a small handful. (You can read the contents of every post in each email and can go directly to the thread, by clicking on the red 'Check it Out' button).

@DSB firstly, it looks as if a correction has been done as your response above is showing as having been recently posted without a date following. I wait to see if that is still the case in a day or two. Secondly I have more than enough emails on a daily basis without adding more, and I am happy doing the trawl through the posts as long they show as new/recent ones. Thanks for your help.

Something else has happen tonight. I was preparing a post on the sic "What have you been doing" section and somehow it disappeared. I tried my "drafts" section and it appears to be there but when I try to resurrect it nothing occurs apart from the fact that I no longer have a Leave a Comment box what-so-ever, not on here, my kindle, or on my I phone so am unable to post in that section at the moment!! HELP.
Edit DSB: Can you help @Rowena ??
