I have used it at home both on a tablet and desktop and also when out and about from a CL and from a commercial site on free WiFi and via 4G and have also had no major problems. The web site is fine gives no problem at all but it is a different matter with the App on Android on a phone, absolutely useless. I assume that most of the problems are occurring with the latter?????

Just looking at the new forest centenary site I see that a non awning grass pitch with electric in mid September is a £1 a night dearer than a serviced pitch ?

Dont forget to check your Junk Mail, occasionally I get stuff from Club that goes straight to Junk Mail.

    Well it would, wouldn't it!!😀

Only one person so far declaring they have received autumn survey. Anyone else? I haven’t and it is not in junk.

I was just reading some of the Ts & Cs and, if I remember correctly, if you amend pitch type less than 21 days ahead, you can change, but will get no refund if the new pitch  costs less.   If it costs more, you have to pay more.

    Have now checked Junk.....nothing there.

I suppose it depends on what they are asking about.  If it is about stays on Club sites, then fair enough, we have not used any in the  last year.

I could however tell them why we have not used any!

Has anyone read the Ts & Cs, let alone understood them? I gave up

I received one today and have completed it. There was a section for comments on the new booking system.

    Au contraire Cyberyacht.

Morn Hill affectively consists of two sites joined together to form one. One half is all grass pitches with its own toilet block and the other half also has its own toilet block but is where the new ferry pitches and hardstandings are located. This enables the Club to open the side with hardstandings all year when occupancy is low and close the other half until Spring.

This is therefore a very good example of joined up thinking.Sorry to disappoint you!

They did ask how many nights last year on CAMC, other club, commercials, CL’s, wild camping, pub stops etc. Also how many planned for 2023. So I wouldn’t think you would have to have used a club site to get one.

Have been a member for almost 20 years. Have no bookings at the moment as we book as and when we feel like it. Just looking to make my first booking on the new system for late November or early December and I have to say I'm not a fan of this new booking system. I'm not a technophobe and can usually quickly get to grips with booking systems, but I feel this one is inferior to the previous one. I've not been able to find anything so will just play it safe with a site I know already fits the bill, though it would be nice if I could find something new. I was also annoyed that if you scroll down the months you can't see what day of the week the dates fall on without scrolling back up, or in my case having my calendar open on my phone! Bloody stupid to omit such simple things.

Thanks TDA, complications due to family getting Covid at the 11th hour with site booked etc.

PS no survey here either, are you and SteveL the only ones? wink

Right then , I have just made a booking for next year and I can’t see what the problem is , yes, there are a few more box’s to tick and it’s a bit slower to go to the next page . I had no problems with paying the deposit.

i think some are just moaning for the sake of it ,because it’s different surprised

That is what some others have said one booking is very slow and is possible,,it is when anything over and above that is when it gets completely not user friendly undecided

I think has time goes by things are getting easier but not yet as good has it should be, I to have made booking for next year as I have to plan around work, we all don’t have the convenience of leaving till nearer the time. The site search is hit and miss on the map, sites show as full until you zoom right in on a potential site.

    Yes browsing has gone

I don't think so, it is easy enough to drag the map around and see where sites are and whether there are pitches available. If I was planning a multi site tour using Club sites I would use this method to identify sites and to decide where to stay.

That is very strange JV, it’s unlikely that you would have an empty Junk Mail in box. It where all the useless stuff usually ends up, leaving you to go through it, sifting out odd pearls from useless pebbles. Might be to do with how your email account is set up.

Re the survey, it’s definitely not related to Club Site usage. Our annual nights, I usually only need 10 fingers!

We have just left a CC site, it being the 6th surprised that we have used this year for a total of 31 nights, and we have not received the survey either. In fact we didn't get a reminder prior to the latest visit to arrive at 1:00 or later, which we had for earlier ones. There is nothing in either the Spam or Junk boxes, but we did get an email  on the 18th Oct reminding us to vote at the AGM so we are definitely on the mailing list.

What is wrong with someone posting a positive review of their experience?

If you have a negative experience, do something about it.

    2019 ....not away at all

2021......20 nights on Club sites, out of a total of 72 nights away, mainly as we had purchased some of those discounted vouchers, plus many CLs  were all booked up.

2022.......no Club sites , due to the cost........80 nights away for us in total

    You're quoting me Peedee?

Yes I appreciate some like perusing maps. However on a smart phone for instance there's hardly room to see a map properly on the split pages now offered.

Kjell as I have just posted above we have had 31 nights on club sites this year, and those nights have worked out at an average of £18:52 pn. I guess you will have paid more than that on some of the sites you have stopped on this year. So with a bit of research one can find CC sites that are relatively cheap. However I very much doubt that we will be using any club sites again, what with the huge price inceases, lack of MWD, and the struggle to fit them in with our touring plans because of the rubbish new booking system.
