    I remember the sand burning my feet at Argeles when i was there when the children were small. Must be 35 odd years ago now.

    Our 9 year old grandson went swimming in lake Annecy this afternoon on a  day out. Next week our daughter and family are off for a couple of nights to les Pecheurs at Frejus: the campsite is open, but they're renting a Mobil home. They live in France, obviouslycool

    Hi CY, sorry about that! 
    We were going for just over three weeks in between Grandsons Gold DOE practice expedition and his last day at college all now not happening.

    Was looking forward to seeing a new area and some , rather expensive looking, eating out!
