Another worse than average performance only brightened by the little girl from Texas doing the raffle draw at half time and giving a lovely interview.

    Roll on next season

Into  every  life  a  little  rain  must  fall,  Roger.

Think  how  miserable  you  would  be  if  you  had  the  draw  tickets  on  each  side  of  the  winning  one  frown

Another good win for the Canaries, puts them 7 points clear.  See the tractor boys won, and away from home as well. 🚜🚜

Results went Rovers' way yesterday even without playing (or maybe because of that!  wink).Coventry away this afternoon, hoping for something positive out of that.

Decent  enough  comment  on  the  little  Lass  in  the  Mail On Sunday  today,  Rog.  A  welcome  change  from  the  players  posturings  &  whinings.

As much as I dislike Raheem Stirling , that was a nice touch of his to get tickets for all the pupils of his former school to watch City just beat Brighton yesterday. ⚽.

Not sure why you dislike Raheem, Trellis, he always speaks very highly of you......😊

Just back from the FA cup semi final and the Champion' League game at Spurs. Took the 'van and stayed at the Club site at Denham.

Wow, Spurs' new ground is absolutely amazing, will try to post a photo!

Well that's me finished for the rest of this season, the SIL is taking the grandson to the two remaining home games.

There's now talk of a takeover of the club, something to keep us interested in the close season!

Our  brilliant chairman has been gravely ill recently, and maybe he's come to the conclusion that it's time to let go. I'll keep you posted.

I thought about going to the away match there last Saturday Pliers but the lunchtime kickoff made it impractical, the luxury coach set off from the JSS at the ungodly hour of 0545 😴

Don't blame you either! But a Town fan pal of mine, who went to the match, tells me that Town will be drawn away at Spurs in the FA cup next season 🤔

He isn't known for his physic powers, so don't rely on it.....

Anyway, last night, what a game!

Good luck to Spurs and the 'Dippers in the next round. Could well be an all British final in Madrid, anything could happen.

Not quite mathematically safe yet, but Rovers' turn around under new management has been good to see in the second half of the season. Hoping that Accrington Stanley (who are they? wink) can also stop their recent plummet and survive.  One more win against the mighty Rochdale tomorrow should do it for Rovers and then, as I mentioned to Mrs M just yesterday, it's June 20th and next season's fixture list to look forward to!  surprised

    I hope so too Moulesy!

It's that time of the season again where we say goodbye to some and hello to others.

Having endured years of 'to-ing and fro-ing' I would just like to congratulate those that 'have' and commiserate with those that 'haven't'

I must say that I have found the Premiership this year to be very interesting, with lots of good footy on display, thrills and spills galore and hope that the introduction of technology next season will not spoil it,

Can’t believe it fourth draw in four games all against teams at the lower end of the table. Should have had the league wrapped up by now

Leed's defeat tonight means that you are virtually assured of promotion. A draw in either of the last two game would seal it.

Well Rovers have survived another undistinguished season - here's to 2019/20! smile And well done to Accrington Stanley (who are they?) see you again next year.

Congratulations to Norwich and (fingers crossed, Sheffield United) both back where they deserve to be. smile

Congrats to Norwich from me too.

Excellent 5-1 win to keep Stanley in League One. (i think they and B. Rovers could be major forces next season!)

No doubt Brian will be happy with his teams seven goal thriller at Gresty road

Fully expect Pliers to be celebrating very soon with 3 or 4 trophies???

Yes, thinking about Brian and the Alex, didn't they score 6 or 7 on the opening day of the season too? It's just the 40 odd games between times that have been a problem! laughing

It's a well done from me to both Norwich and the Blades for securing promotion to the greedy league.

It looks like city will be Premier League Champions again barring accident although the dippers will run them close.

What was going on at the big yellow skip this afternoon? It's a good job that the Leeds coach did the decent thing even though the "man with magic hat" aka Pontus Jonson tried his best to undo it.

Fwiw I though the Leeds man was offside anyhoo.

Rog, I thought it was the Blunts, not the Blades that had won promotion.....🤔

    But congrats to whoever!

I've never heard them called that, if we're being rude we call them the "urinals"

Interesting times for us at the moment, the rumored takeover is now reality. Dean Hoyle has sold 75% of the club to the chap who owned Sputhport FC.

As you would expect reaction on the fan's forum is mixed. Time will tell.

Strong rumours this side of the Pennines that lovely Ole Gunnar is on his way out of The Swamp 😱. Surely not......

Anyway, just back from the match at City, don't they put you through it! Just need to win at Brighton, will not be easy. Then the Cup Final. What a season!
