Hope that it's as last time for me, as got a cancellation at the hygienist for tomorrow instead of having to wait another couple of weeks.
WN, All our very best wishes for tomorrow. Hope you've got a special meal planned for evening.

Good for you, it's just great to get out and about, regardless of the weather, even if one has to do similar routes every other day or so. There's always something different to see, especial as Spring advances.

I'm cooking what I've been asked to cook Nellie but I have to say I live with heathens and barbarians.

I do have a nice Red to go with it though. I was allowed to choose the wine as I dislike drinking out of cans.

Great series that one Goldie.

We had the usual ten thousand meal service yesterday. Strange how CT seems to have synchronised peoples dental appointments.

Very insightful CY👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Well we have had wall to wall sunshine for 7 days now as witnessed by the beautiful display of crocus along the seafront, and the great sky over the IOW, some very low tides this week but the sun now not setting behind the IOW, sure sign summer is on the way but was a very early evening mist yesterday,

Could have done with seeing your colourful Crocii while I was waiting ( on hold ) for the surgery to wake up !! And I was only responding to their instructions after all AND I was making two 'blood sampling' appointments into one
. but still its done now and just a visit to the secondary surgery on Friday lunch time for about six [6] fingers of blood to be taken -- just hope I don't faint
but still it will make room for the second C19 vax
Must spend a little while on here today to get used to the nice fresh avatars out there

Hanging on for eons to be connected to the Bank. it's a new version of contacting thr dead. You dial the Contact Centre and wait to be disconnected ...
The Bank seems to think that service is something you book your car in for, so they're unable tohelp, but they will sell your breakdown Insurance ...

Have you gone into mass catering CY?!

My dental appointment is now over till the next one, still no water but only took half an hour rather than the epic two hour previous one. They are running things very well so I mustn't grumble.
Neighbours house move is proving to be a bit difficult due to the distances involved and someone from the family is finally apearing to sort the paper work...hooray!! (I had been asked round to collect things to copy and I knew solicitors etc would want originals, the penny has dropped!)
Beautiful day, a bit more rose pruning to do etc. Think we'll be complaining tomorrow so must make the best of it.

Happy celebration WN!
Just bought a gift Membership for a relative. T’other Club though.😂

Should have gone to SpecSavers whilst you were out and about Brian (other Opticians are available but no-one does funnier adverts) as it's our ANNIVERSARY today. as in WEDDING. I'm just assuming you're deaf as well as blind.

If I was 42 I would be a bit worried.

Happy anniversary to the Wherenext's, celebrate in style 😀
I'm inclined to agree with cyberyacht re dental work and CT. I go next week, OH went a couple of weeks back. We've not booked our appointments together for years. Dentist is only a stroll away. We've both had wet cleans, only one dry one thankfully. I fear for my purse this time as my choice of 2 iffy teeth are definitely more tender now than a year ago. It'll be crowns or 3d ones created while I wait.£££££
Glorious blue sky and sun here today very very welcome I can only see one fluffy cloud 😀 bliss and a long time coming. Despite the lovely weather I did spend the morning sorting my parents photo collection. Many labelled to be passed in to archives lots thrown and another heap to sort properly for ourselves. Today all the stars lined up so was able to be ruthless and sympathetic. So much harder to sort old stuff when it's your family or life unlike sorting, searching and cataloguing archives 🙁.
Just enjoying lunch in the garden, first this year 😀.
Got Tesco delivery between 2-3, then I'll deliver a couple of my mums geraniums, following a plant request on our neighbour FB page for someones son. I've not wanted them since I bought them home last August, they survived in her house for almost a year of neglect 😱 but I can't/couldn't throw them out, it's like abuse! Although I admit to keeping them very dry and cool in the meantime - just in case nature took its course 🙈.
Then on to collect the dog from daycare. Sounds mad but she really enjoys it, starts crying with excitement about 1/2 mile from destination once she realises. Gives her plenty of exercise, huge secure grounds and plenty of dogs to play with. Definitely helping with her socialising which wasn't bad anyway all things considered. And I get a break to do things without help!

Not much can be done today. Just another day but then again every day is special.
A bet a few of you have gone queasy now.I don't recall a visit to Tesco as being high on the list of things to do and I even went on my own. Can't trust Mrs WN with choosing the fresh food as picking alternatives, should first choice be unavailable, is above her pay grade. I'm not allowed any temper tantrums today. Anyway had to take MiL to town for her Chiropodist appointment.
Grey day today with the odd bit of mizzle.

No, nothing to do with price. It’s an unconventional vehicle, life will be easier for her.

Congratulations from us WN ours is in September a big 50th.
A lovely sunny day but a very chilly northerly wind so the washing dried well, just finished 2nd side of a door painting and will do second coat next week.
Shopping on Thursday at Villefranche and a trip to local DIY store for a few more buts and pieces.
Got a friend coming around tomorrow so OH can look at her mower as not working very well as she said she can do most things but lawnmower not quite her thing as her OH still working in UK.
Looks like I may get my jab mid April OH earlier due to him being diabetic just got to wait for doctor to contact him.

Thanks to one and all.
Arranged a special pressie for Mrs WN. She now has her Jab pencilled in for Saturday, unfortunately first thing in the morning. Beggars can't be choosers. It does mean we'll have to make a trip home from our booked CL for the second but only an hour away.
Got anything planned RedKite both to celebrate the jab and for the 50th.?

Since the forecast is for a week of rain, I've made a start on the cleaning regime. Front part of the MH roof polished and waxed. Arms ache a bit but I've saved the cost of a gym membership. Been able to try out the new telescopic ladder that my OH kindly bought for me. I don't think she trusts my fifty year old wooden one. Got man coming tomorrow to 'case the joint' for fitting an inverter.

What a lovely day quite warm with plenty of sun even when out at 0730 with Rosa

Schools back ,litter has appeared on cross country route from local Co oP to the Comprehensive

The Pupils? must have had their covid tests ,as the Valley at the bottom of our road had numerous non social distancing groups of children ,sitting together

Just have to hope that as proven last year that the school "spreaders"are not now as infectious as last time

Not for the jab WN Oh ok with it as he is used to jabs I am not personal experience as a child and not like them since so will be glad when done, as to 50th anniversary hopefully we will be in Cornwall so will book somewhere for us to go just the two of us as I have no family left and OH's sister niece and great niece all in Birmingham they are not really that close, had our 70th birthday last July here with a few friends with the caravan canopy being used as the birthday bash which was lovely although very hot so folk trying to find shade even around the back of the caravan all good fun.

A truly lovely day here the only fluffy cloud I saw completely disappeared. Enjoyed a potter in the garden and heard the sound of the children coming home from school chattering and laughing drifting over the park at the back. A sound I hadn't realised how much I'd missed 😀. That lifted my spirits, so much a sound of days pre lockdown and pandemic. Long may it continue.
Mad video call just as I was about to dish up, shepherds our luckily so didn't spoil, with our eldest granddaughter on her 7th birthday, tomorrow if you're here - today if you're there 🤣. Slightly earlier than we expected. She opened her presents from us and was thrilled with the contents. And had a jolly good laugh when we asked to have a good look at the Lego desk set and her clothes as we hadn't seen them. Her face was a picture! We were able to say that our shops weren't open so mummy had shopped for us in NZ. Sadly we no longer buy here and post, postage has really increased and better value for us and postage can be included in the present price. We post our cards and gift labels and mummy wraps. It's a win situation for us! We also got caught out for customs duty a few years back, and it's happened here too when she's sent things.
We were treated to a gymnastics display whilst wearing her new gym pants, long trousers to us, before she tucked into her breakfast. Still chatting excitedly.
Not to be left out her younger sister attempted to join in and finally was able to tell us she was going to the fire station, not with mummy, not daddy not sister, but on a coach with her kindy friends. Daughter said keep your fingers crossed their lockdown level remains at 1. Any other outings she's been on mummy has been, if her teaching allows, she's so excited I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Transpires it's not until 24th 😂.
Can't believe its 3 years since we were last with them, almost half granddaughter's lifetime 😢. Hopefully we can meet again before too long.

That sounds lovely Bakers2! Glad you were able to speak to the girls. Our village school has had quite a few children in through lockdown and I always enjoy hearing play time, it's busier now! Secondary schools are staggering returns, our youngest grandson goes back on Friday, I expect quite a few have grown out of their uniforms.
I know I've grown out of some of my clothes too...lockdown eating!

You're fortunate to get it done, brue. I drove down for the "rearranged" appointment only to be met with puzzled expressions from the receptionist and office manager as they had no notice of any cancellations and rebooking, and there was not time free for me to get treated. Many apologies and confirmation of my next booked appointments , but they are towards the end of the month. So a wasted trip, and still the joys of the hygienist to come.🤔
