I've decided to take the plunge and head south for a month in the winter. The question is this: where to stay en route through France? I'm fairly new to motorhoming too, having had a caravan for years, so any tips from seasoned motorhomers would be welcomed. I'll be travelling on my own in February 2024.
Does anyone know the rules for towing an 8 foot-wide caravan with a double axle in the Republic of Ireland? My Irish friend says I will need a 4x4 tow car to comply with the law. I have a UK licence issued before 1997 so I have a Category BE and C1E with a max weight of 8250 kg. Where can I get the official answer?
