Caravan Club Winter Holiday Villanova Park, Barcelona

We have booked the above for the 11th February, 2024.

Has any member of the club taken the route from Santander, Zaragoza then Villanova, google map shows 6/7hrs direct drive, are there any caravan sites open en route?

Cheers Jonboy

Most travellers on route to Mediterranean Spain from eiither Santander or Bilbao overnight at the Municiple campsite in Zaragoza (Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza). Co-ordinates N 41.637990, W 0.943240. It is open all year. Not sure of the current price but probably in the region of €27p.n.

I should have added, it is not a brilliant site but this is about the only option for caravan ownews.

I stayed on the Zaragoza site last week, the current price is 33 euros (£28) a night with water and electricity on the pitch (no waste drain). The site has very much matured over the years and is now looking much better and while there is a pool and a restaurant and the facilities were clean, they are not much to shout about. I'd refer to them as being adequate.

We’ll be staying there for one night in January (a Thursday). Will we be ok to just turn up do you think?

Hi we drove across from Bilbao to Tarragona (Tamarit Beach Resort) in one leg in Sep 22. Distance about 365 miles and an easy drive as most of the route is on motorways.
