I know you are!
It's not really what matters to the individual writer but we all need to consider how our words appear to others so as not to cause offence. In fact, I believe there’s something in the guidelines to that effect.

I so agree, but it is very obvious it seems to be very hap hazard when a thread is running but posts, because it seems long time lapses before they appear they become out of context, but other posters do not read previos posts just the one in front of them a reply without and comprehension it seems of what the post was an answer to

What an inspiring article. He's one lucky little lad that Arthur to have a very articulate mum. Hopefully she can enlighten and educate our world. May neither she nor he be hurt by unthoughtful comments again. Although I suspect that's extremely wishful thinking.

Not wishing to make this political or race. No one expected any change for at least 14 days after the end of lockdown. Like other parts of the UK we have spikes and in one case rife in a hospital. Its sad not anything to gloat about. What government/Assembly is merely trying to do is dampen the virus whilst the vaccine gets rolled out. Surely anything that might do this is sensible.

Our rate, which was very high, is slowly coming down thankfully. But watching some of the places that didn’t have too high a rate a couple of weeks ago, it is very worrying. It’s creeping out to all areas now☹️

Personally I find it obscene that over 17 million Minks are bred in Denmark alone just so they can be slaughtered for their fur.
To have them, supposedly, catch the virus from Humans and then transmit it back is a bit ironic really. Just shows how dangerous it is for Humans messing with the natural world as they don't always know what they may unleash.

Absolutely right, all of the novel viruses like HIV, SARS, MERS, Avian Flu, Ebola etc have all crossed the threshold from animal to human virus. Beyond that they can mutate in unpredictable ways like the mink example in Denmark which now poses a threat to the efficacy of the recent vaccine breakthrough.

Those who take a lead in a variety of organisations seem to be doing absolutely everything possible to keep contact with folk. Some of these groups are such a necessary part of peoples lives.
One of the choirs that I direct have not actually met 'in person' since last March. We have done 'Zoom quizzes', I organised a weekly plan for folk to practice on their own (with rehearsal and backing tracks for folk to use at home), and in the summer we did a 'virtual choir'. That involved folk recording their own part, sending it to me (mainly through dropbox) and then I 'stitched' all the parts together and made it into a choir. Not everyone took part - many found it challenging - and it was so time consuming to put it all together - we did our best with very limited technology, but we got there in the end. If anyone is interested, this is how it came out....
We spent much of the autumn looking at the possibility of getting back together by searching out a venue large enough to follow the guidelines and doing all the risk assessments and research to ensure we could all be as safe as possible and to comply with the regulations - which changed frequently. Just we were about to try to get together for short periods we got..... the November lockdown, so nothing now till after Christmas at the earliest. So were back to a Christmas Virtual Performance.... if I can get it all done in time.
We are all doing our best in what is extremely challenging times. In reality no-one knows if we are doing the right thing! It is a balancing act. We will only know if we have done the right thing when it is, all ove - done and dusted. Then, it will be easy to be wise after the event...
At least some good news about the vaccine.... but nothing is a 'done deal' as yet....

Dreadful. I had no idea Denmark was involved on such a huge scale. Poor things are better off dead than living in conditions they do. ☹️

That seems quite an enterprise getting all that organised with excellent results. Didn't realise you are a film director as well!!!
I bet no one realised that as a country we would come out of COVID with new skills?

Lets hope dogs never get infected with a novel virus and cross to humans, or we'll all be in trouble in this country. I see bird flu has reared its ugly head again with an outbreak in Herefordshire following a couple of other cases in the country.
