I wonder if the pressures from Mark Drakeford, wee Burney, and Northern Ireland's Arlene Foster will make Boris change his mind about a 'circuit breaker' or other stricter measures.

That's a sad bit of need for you EuroT. (I've got a good friend from when I started school.)

We are lucky that we don't have borders that repel one another,  I hope none of your services are ever needed on the Tamar!

We have a freezer arriving tomorrow, need more space for Winter stocks. We like to make our own bread, soups, other meals, so it makes sense. That way can easily have a night off cooking when we feel like it, but without resorting to bought in meals. 

Keep Cornwall safe and snug for us you lot down there. Returning in better times is our goal when things get a lot better. 👍

I work in an Airport and witness day to day people that On return to the UK are required to complete a passenger health locator form providing details of where the passenger has been and where they will self isolate if required. 

Staff are bombarded with comments such as I don’t have CV why should I do it, I did a form in Greece why should I do one now?

The very real truth is as your member points out here, although you are taking precautions many around you may not have and the people you come in contact with  en route such as services could also be a concern  or in my example above those free of CV have flown in a confined space full of passengers that may have symptoms and as such and despite your efforts, place you at risk  

There are many online providers of good information regarding which areas are considered to be in which category, the BBC being one of them    

I don’t think there is any need for a moral v legal debate here , the key to keeping safe is using common sense approach research to your trip  

we have had our cruise cancelled and it is a huge disappointment after looking forward to it for so long but it is what it is and we are where we are  Let’s work together to fight this and consider others that may be at risk by planning our trips away  There should always be a plan B  
  
Social distancing can be maintained relatively well using your own showers and toilets facilities but check before you travel as whether sites are open and what facilities are available   

But do remember that the money in his purse comes from the taxpayer.  

In answer to JV’s last post, I was under the impression that the majority of folks in this country (a very slim majority) had decided it wasn’t that interested in what others countries decided, implemented, carried out, and had elected a Govt on the basis of heading in this direction. Going it alone so to speak🤷‍♀️

In terms of taxation, a good start might be to ensure that some of the very big  organisations did indeed pay their taxes owed. Then ensure that all these contracts awarded to private companies are subject to decent scrutiny, and not just to “chums” and Party donors (nice little earner currently ongoing for experts on up to £3000 per day trying to advise on current track and trace), who are handed multi million pound contracts without due diligence. I can think of an individual recently found out not paying his second home taxes as well, one of many I don’t doubt.

I wouldn’t object to paying a bit more tax if I knew it was reaching where it could do the most good, for the most people. But I’m not going to be happy adding to the lifestyle of some shareholders or for politicians promoted to positions of power beyond their capabilities.😡

well we have just taken the decision to cancel our November and December trips to Broadway and Chatsworth .Just dont think it is worth the risk.Doesnt look as if it is going to be under control any time soon
