Just one server error but posts appear instantly and pages load quickly. I’m a happy bunny🐰

I think this site has hit rock bottom - slow to load - constant server errors on certain threads - for example the "Sites to re-open on 4th July". I've never had problems like this before. It's just so frustrating

Gosh. This is fun - not 😢🤐😱
I'd just like to read some posts but its impossible server errors everywhere.
I don't envy the IT folk it seems like one sticky plaster causes leaking and and loads more needed to to get back to the original status quo 😢.
Is it a conspiracy that this is the only thread that opens for me??
Edit - if a thread does open, excluding this one, page turning is impossible throwing up server errors. Including Rowena's coronavirus discussion I long to read posts 41-49 which might give me some food for thought 🤞 others must be able to access cos the number of replies are creeping up! Is it device specific? Samsung tablet and phone for me, both having the same issues.

Just logged on and at the moment it is a lot better than yesterday evening. Although it is still hanging up occasionally between threads.
Edit
However, the corona virus thread seems to be broken. Server errors every time.☹️
Another edit
Looks like I was just initially lucky. Now server errors at every turn.😖

This thread should be in the "Funnies" section and this website is a joke. I haven't been able to read Rowena's thread since it was started.
That these issues have persisted for such a prolonged period demonstrates both the inability of the IT people to properly sort out this website and the total lack of leadership from the management in addressing this issue that dates back to 2016.

Hi Steve (and others)
Can you confirm, is it just Club Together that you're having issues with?
Or are there other sections of the website that are returning Internal Server Errors?
Regards
Justin

Hi Justin, I’ve just looked at Club Together this morning. The ‘what are you all up to’ section opens but trying to get to the last page using the fast forward (double arrow symbol) the error message appears. I can open the ‘Coronavirus concerns’ page through the search facility but can’t access any pages without the error message appearing. I haven’t tried other parts of the CAMC website recently so for me it’s only been very bad issues with Club Together.

Justin, just been clicking around the rest of CAMC website and no errors, new pages and refresh 2/3 seconds so speedy by usual standards on here. Forum pages also at same speed but some threads not accessible with "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred", especially Rowenas Corona Virus thread which in itself is quite a small thread compared to some. Sometimes, just sometimes a refresh will overcome the error (maybe a clue?) Historically I have usually found any errors contained to the Forum mostly, with the main site still rocking on.

Morning Justin
It's just CT that has issues, the rest of the website is ok

Justin, I have just done a site search and a dummy booking - no problem. I've searched for a CL - no probiem, other than being slow.
For me, the server error issue seems to be confined to the forum. It's very random so difficult to detail. However, the forum is working very much quicker today.

I got the server error in this thread but it went with a (very) quick refresh😄

Thanks all for your updates.
Your comments match what we're seeing - Club Together and Classifieds seem slow to load (although better than the previous few days).
The latest fix was implemented at approx 22:30 last night and the performance on the majority of the website (membership, insurance, UK sites and overseas) appears to be much improved.
Monitoring of site traffic and performance has continued this morning and a progress meeting is scheduled shortly.
I will pass on your feedback re CT.

That's what I always do. There's no problem with LA for me.

As it seems CT ‘what are you all up to today’ seems to be one of the most problematic, does it really need to keep all 36508 posts (at time of posting) on there? That’s a huge file. If that was any PC that wouldn’t work properly either!!

See previous posts, Heddlo. Page 14. Storage is not the issue.
