Thanks for that. Every day is a school day, I've always used the page numbers , I'll try the arrows in future.🤓

This is getting seriously stupid. I tried to get into a thread by clicking on the section to be told the page was unable to be accessed but got in by clicking the latest post option. Then I posted a reply on another thread and got the same message when I wasn't trying to access a page just posting a reply. I got back into the thread and my reply was there!

As for the site being slow😡😱

It has been really slow today and now getting server errors again as last weekend

Is it the latest way of stopping the weekend warriors giving the mods more work ,by CT going down again over the next few dayssurprised

For all the downtime and maintenance there never seems to be an improvement. So what's it all for?

If there was an I.T. department then this site would be perfect but we can all see that it's maintained by any Tom, Dick or Harry that thinks they know about computers. Just my opinion, but I have always been disappointed with this site for speed.

It suits my lifestyle ... taking it easy, time to sup coffee, no rush, time to dream of better things, have a nap to conserve energy, excuse to blame the website for not finding posts rather than it being my memory cool

    There’s no need to shout😖.

    I think we've all noticed. It’s only a forum.

As the latest problem it seems be going on since Friday ,there has not been a single bit of information from any one at HO as if and when it is to be improved i will not say rectified ,as it seems the more the site is taken over for maintainance without any notice to the users the worse it has got ,

please feel free to reprt my post just in case some one notes it and then may shake some awake to the problems

They can't even find the logo. It's been missing (at least on my iPad) for weeks. So not sure what chance they stand of finding a new server.😉

It's been down again this evening for "essential maintenance" but still getting server errors with every other posting now that it's back up and "running" or should that be crawling?

I have been getting server errors all day and it seems to be getting worse and more frequent.

    Hi all

As stated previously, although I work in the Club's IS Dept, I'm not directly involved in the operational day to day maintenance of the website.

However, I can give you a few brief updates on some of the recent website outages...

Several of these have been related to an upgrade/migration of the content indexing tool that deals with, among other things, the Club Together section of the website. This migration forms part of a bigger piece of work to upgrade the CMS (Content Management System), which should ultimately be more stable when complete.

Earlier today, the performance of the website was affected by one of our web database servers "running hot" (maxing out on CPU). This was rectified by a restart of the affected server.

I do not monitor the Club Together forums as part of my role. Therefore, I can't always reply to any responses to my posts in a timely manner...  but I do try to check in on them, and reply, as and when I can

    Regards

    Justin

Cheers, Justin. It’s good to know someone cares😊

Edit: even though I can’t read any other thread due to server error messages😄

Looks like I spoke too soon!

However, a further fix at 11.06pm last night seems to have fixed the issue :-)

I have scooted around catching up JB, things are running smoothly, the frustration factor is at 1+, similar to YouTube’s👍🏻😊. Let me try something here. . .’it seems quite good’

Seems to be working a lot better this morning. Let's hope the sticking plaster holds.🤞Perhaps they just need bigger CPU's in their servers.😀

Too much heat on the CPU and the plaster will peel off surprised
