Finally the new card arrived this morning and I now have my pin, however I hope everyones number hasn't been generated the same way otherwise it won't take a genius to work out what it is. Three quarters of the code is clearly written on the card. Hope it's just coincidence. My next challenge is to try and get through to PK to get it changed. It would be nice to have that ability via the website.

well if you care to track back through 1k+ posts, somewhere in all of it eccomerce1(staff) said this deal with PK was 2 years in the making, in a response i think to the integrity of debit cards, and i know the Shell card, which must be at least 12 months old was also a PK promotion undecided

My local is 130.9, Esso 7 miles away currently 129.9, so 126.4 is a saving. However if I'm off towards the nearest supermarkets, in excess of 25 miles away, diesel drops to 123.9, so swings and roundabouts depending upon where you live.

I've had my card barely 3 weeks and I got my text for this coming weeks prices...£1.191 per litre for standard unleaded. My local pump price is £1.199. An amazing saving of 0.08p. Where's the 5p saving per litre that was so heavily pushed on launch. The most I've saved since having the card is 2p per litre. Pathetic offer.

It was actually 8p per litre that we were conned with in the begining. Perhaps all that happened was the decimal point was placed in the wrong position . . . . ?

Are you sure it is not the previous card which has now expired?  They stated Monday 18th Feb  However, I believe the next Monday 18th February is 2030!  Maybe they will be sent out on Feb 29th?

    Might have it by then?

I received my card when it first came out and used it about 5 times all no trouble. Received e-mail saying new card would be delivered by 18th Feb and old card would end on the 19th.  I have still not received the new card and on the 12th I filled up and my card was refused.  So I guess that's the end of that.

It said (and still says) "On average members will typically save 8p per litre on premium diesel or unleaded fuel and 5p per litre on standard diesel or unleaded fuel. "

I'd expect the savings to be smaller in urban areas with a bit of supermarket competiion, and greater in rural areas and at motorway services.

No wonder the CC are keeping quiet, they seem to be pushing the scheme at the caravan show! Still awaiting my card or a reply from Pump King re my email enquiry at the end January but I won't be registering it if ever it does arrive. I've lost all faith in the club management and especially their so called members offers.

My new card arrived this morning.  All appears well.  I've logged on, put in my new number and retrieved the PIN number.  Now all as I need to do is to try it out at an Esso station....

We are around 8 miles away from our nearest cheaper fuel prices, Morrison's have held steady at £1.14 £1.21 & £1.24. Esso is our nearest but we rarely use it due to the high prices even with offers or discounts.

Received my replacement card this morning (much to my surprise, I must say) and my PIN is also 75% shown on the card. Anyone found out how to change the PIN? I'm awaiting a ring back (!) from PK to respond to my query.
I'm editing this post a few minutes later as I've had a very prompt ring back from PK. Apparently the PIN is randomly generated and any coincidence with numbers quoted on the card (and I'm not talking about the long number, but the three digit number) is just that a coincidence … SO it'll be interesting to find out if this coincidence is more widespread than the two of us who've noticed it thus far …

Just recieved my new Esso card and yes my pin number is almost on the card in the left hand bottom corner. So  i am the third.

At least I have not got to remember it,but how can something like this happen in today's technology and on line fraud ect.

Without contacting Pump King I am afraid this card will not be being used.

I notice that the pump-king Ts&Cs have been changed since I last looked at them.

For instance, I note that the minimum of 15 litres and maximum of 80 litres has been removed.  But we were supposed to be notified of any changes!

My pin number is also 75% of the number in the left corner of the card

ps when looking for PKs information it seems several "organisations "members are having just as much of a problem with PK as we are with lack of cards or no answers when trying to contact them

If you were not notified then the original T&Cs are still in place as confirmed by the CC.

About 10,000 posts earlier somone pointed out that the T&Cs had been ammended to include the 15 and 80 litre limits (without prior notification). Looks like they have been amended again - perhaps back to what they were formerly?

What court of law would enforce them when the overall shambles is considered?

I have still not received my Esso fuel card despite me applying for it on the 7th December 2018 LAST YEAR   !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I`ve had numerous dates as to when i will receive it both from Esso and from CAMC online chat all of which have disappeared into the nothingness of time !!!!!

What have they done with my debit card details that i gave them LAST YEAR  ?????????????????

This is a bleeding joke and if i do ever receive it what sort of mess are they going to make of taking payment for any fuel bought on it  ?

And another with 75% of the PIN on the card - at least I now have one and considering that it was originally ordered on 22 November I suppose I should be gratefulundecided

Should we not have been informed each and every time the T&Cs are changed?

yes, and apparently the club are still promoting this at some caravan show. They should have hoisted a large banner displaying an apology for this fiasco.

I currently have a card that was working last Friday, not sure if it still is, but if information from the club is accurate all old cards will be cancelled this week and new ones issued that were posted Fri/Sat last week. Well Rowena still not received my new card ?????
