Euro Tunnel Fares
If you just turn up without booking is the standard fare cost the same as advertised on line?

Last time we used the Tunnel was when OH and I were working in Kent and we would pop over to Calais to fill up with diesel and do a bit of shopping in Citi Europe was £9.00 return from 1600 and someone else always paid the £9.00

I'm pretty sure it is; I once enquired about turning up that day instead of the day after, when we had a return booked. I was quoted the same price as it was online. I didn't bother though, as it was well in excess of £200 for a one way ticket! A quick look for today, between 18.00-22.00 shows it's £211 for a motorhome.

I tracked the prices for a while and they shoot up about a week before departure. Always best to book ahead then change if you need to.
