If you just turn up without booking is the standard fare cost the same as advertised on line?

Last time we used the Tunnel was when OH and I were working in Kent and we would pop over to Calais to fill up with diesel and do a bit of shopping in Citi Europe was £9.00  return from 1600 and someone else always paid the £9.00wink

I'm pretty sure it is; I once enquired about turning up that day instead of the day after, when we had a return booked.  I was quoted the same price as it was online.  I didn't bother though, as it was well in excess of £200 for a one way ticket!  A quick look for today, between 18.00-22.00 shows it's £211 for a motorhome.

Thanks InaD... it appears the later you leave it the higher the price. Even booking just two days in advance makes a real difference.

I tracked the prices for a while and they shoot up about a week before departure. Always best to book ahead then change if you need to.
