Family pitch rules not encouraging future members.

Hello MarknPam, Welcome to the club!
Further to Rowena's post just to explain the price for the seasonal pitch is for the 2 members on the membership.
The reason for charging you the extra fee is because they have paid for themselves at a discounted rate and it discourages subletting whether its family, friends or other members of the public.
We try to be as fair and accommodating as possible whilst also taking precautions ourselves.
The seasonal pitches are very popular due to their great value and what they offer.
We understand your point however and will pass your feedback on

That's a rather bold statement .....young man , calm down dear & relax like the older mature members .😘

If you are trying to insinuate did I ever use a Cl whilst I was not a member of the CC then definitely not.
However if the question was "did you on Club sites allow your children to cycle against the traffic flow under your supervision" then I will plead guilty.

I think you know full well that neither instance applies to my post and you’re being quite Artful.
Perhaps I should spell it out?

thanks, and indeed, I like have to keep my hand in, keeps the old grey cells healthy

or maybe (as MM says) I could do the sums for grant,
circumference divided by diameter is...?
2 -
Yes. That stuff is degree level now.

But when did you last care? (Outside of a class room) I've done engineering for the best part of 40 yrs & have never ever used circum = 2 Pi r (I learnt it differenter than you obviously taught)
But we're digressing from the CC allegedly taking 2 bites from the same cherry ...

Or from the same pi .

Cherry Hinton pie . . . ?

It is actually taught both ways in schools, but interestingly enough most engineering and construction students that I have observed in FE colleges up to BTEC and HND level will be taught to use diameter rather than radius in both circumference and area formulae. C=piD and A = pi(d/2)^2.
The idea I believe is that it is far easier to measure the diameter of a circle or pipe or drain than a radius.
I am making no statement either way on your use just telling you what is current thought.
PS you either know why pies are so important to Grant or not

btw you can tell grant on site as he wears this t shirt.
Translations are available on request from MM

Yes that is the generally accepted way of teaching the use of pi.
Also taught in the Bible - I Kings 7:23-26
Ask Grant - he knows
so back to the OP, are they? The pitch has been assigned to the dad, not the daughter. Why should the club be robbed of their due fee?

sorry yes you're an engineer, forgot you use j for root(-1) is that right? due to i being current? while us humble mathematicians use i
i ate sum pie

just to let you know I do have that t shirt and this one too.
Used to wear them on dress down/non uniform days

last one really, but a member of my staff, did wear this one but only a few realised what she was saying? I told her she couldn't really wear it again. The funny thing was the head saying what a good idea it was for her to walk around with a maths question! The next time she wore the black one. (yes she was actually)
