Yes and with usherettes walking down the aisles selling ice-cream in the intermission.
In those days you sometimes got two films, an A and a B film. Today we just get lots of B films.

I remember it well. I also remember the usherettes showing you to your seat with a torch. That cinema building in Worthing facing the sea front is still there. It's outside appearance hasn't changed since I was a child!
