Hello Michael, Thank you for your review. Apologies that you have been experiencing problems accessing Club Together. We are aware of this issue and are working on a new platform for this which is due to be released later on this year. We will communicate to members when this has been released. As always if you do have any specific problems with the website you can contact us at enquiries@camc.com with details of the issues you are having and we will investigate this for you. ~Dan0 -
Given that reply, it is difficult to understand why someone hasn't bothered to put the information re a new platform on here days ago. Although, if its much later on this year and it carries on as it is at the moment ( over 3 minutes to get into this thread) I think I will have lost interest in CT long before.

I'm convinced that their plan is for so many to give up on CT and they can then say it's not worth continuing with it.

Haven't bothered to use the website for most of this week due to the problems accessing the site. However, wanted to research some CLs, no chance; then tried CT, against better judgment, gave up on that. Out of interest tried to see if a search for UK club sites was any better, even that wouldn't load. Eventually, after about 10 minutes I got into CT. No improvement since last weekend then
Don't think I'll hold my breath for the "new platform" promised in the reply to MichaelT; these problems are nothing new and have been going on for quite some time, although recently it's got much worse.

I've reported your post and drawn attention, YET AGAIN to the total lack of response from the club on their unfit for purpose website.
Do I expect a response? Of course not. Do I think the club worthy of my membership in the future, our non membership is hopefully only temporary, we'd need a compelling reason to rejoin.....

Thank you Bakers2, won't hold my breath either......It's a bit better now I managed to log in and get into CT without a lengthy delay, although there's still room for improvement as they say. Last night it really was so frustrating, all I wanted to do was look up some CLs, not too much to ask surely? Mmmm, obviously it was

We are very long time members but with now also rejoining the CCC i think it will be after this year(as we.are already booked many sites)and after speaking to some of our friends(some are retired site and HO staff .that are also seriously thinking of jumping ship .as their concecions are also being eroded ) next year will see very few bookings with this club,
They can now save more money with the CCC and can see no benefit staying with this club

Surely the lack of response to the queries about how poor CT now operates isn't one of the reason for you not continuing with CC Membership is it? I'm puzzled why you should then mention your intentions in this thread.

After years of watching folk getting upset re C&MC etc I’m afraid those who mention ‘jumping ship’ rarely do🤷🏻♂️. The name change created many many mr & mrs angry types yet the vast majority are still here. It would be better to just say “I will be looking in now & then to see if it gets better”👍🏻. After all none of us are that important that the whole thing will fail without our meagre & inconsequential input-Fact.

"Free? membership after 50years thats nearly one night free per year on some sites .
When do you claim your membership back JK and still free site stays when not working on sites (for now😜 )
We were looking at some of this years site price bands and on some sites it even had one night at different price(not the cheapest either)
And jumping ship can mean keeping your options open but not using them.
By posts on here (when working)it seems quite a few are now using the CL)CS network

The whole website it now seems is failing and it does not bode well for the future
Not helped by the lack of real information about the website and it seems most things to keep the members informed
Unless it is about a "jolly" that the directors seem keen for us all to note🤔

I replied to you about an hour ago, JK, but it froze and my post never appeared.😤
I said the speed varies almost minute to minute and I’d just got a server error message when trying to access Latest Activity. I got round it by opening an older tab with LA on it and, much to my surprise, it updated and worked.🤷🏻♂️

It does seem to vary from minute to minute, I just tried to access via the Club Together tab and got the server error message. I got in, similar to you, by clicking on an older tab with My Bookings, which then took me to the log-in page and I was able to navigate here via the Discussions tab. Talk about jumping through hoops!

Hi everyone,
Further to my last update I can advise that the Infrastructure team has been investigating the problem and identified some internal server errors on the main Club Together page, although sub pages appeared unaffected. As you are all aware, these errors have increased recently and have been happening several times a day. They carried out some initial housekeeping and the Club Together landing page now runs much faster - hopefully this will be reflected in what you now also experience.
The team are still compiling error logs relating to other website performance issues we are seeing and will continue to work on these. In the meantime please continue to let me if you are still experiencing issues.

Heartened to read Rowena's post. Didn't last long. Clicked on already open tab for latest activity - internal server error. Granted it did come up faster than usual 🤐.

Very slow for me too, although I did manage to get into CT quite quickly. Wonder how long It will take for this post to load!
Edit. It loaded immediately, so could this be the start of the improvements?

I waited ages this morning to get onto the web site, not just the forum. I posted on this section but it didn't appear. I hope HQ are checking the system at frequent intervals, for the lucky few who hit at the right time it might appear to be OK but it certainly isn't!!
