I don't believe there is an IT dept. any more, they have all gone on furlough for the next 12 months, and are just leaving the site to die a natural death.

Agree, hja, very slow, locking up and getting server error messages too.

Give the poor girl a break. She probably hasn't got a clue any more than the top echelons at Grimstead Towers.

Tried to look at posts just before 8, utter waste of time.
My usual routine is to open the two other forum that I look at and browse those while CT builds up a head of steam, which I did and now at 0816 is fine....................till who knows when.
Considering that this tread was started 4 weeks ago I am asking myself why I am even bothering to post in it.

Yes forgot to mention it wasn't just CT.
Very poor all round. Certainly not a good advert for the club, I feel for the CL owners. It would appear the club are making enough income whether or not folk can get on the site to look and book otherwise I'm sure the issue would have been given a higher priority 🤐. Its those CL's that can only have club members stay I feel for.

Waiting (TTFB). The browser is waiting for the first byte of a response. TTFB stands for Time To First Byte. This timing includes 1 round trip of latency and the time the server took to prepare the response.

One of my usual non internal server errors
www.caravanclub.co.uk took too long to respond.
But this is a new one to me

I couldn’t get onto the caravan club site at all this afternoon, until now. Attempts returned this error, although I was using my normal method.

Talk about frustrated😡 Been trying to book a Club Site all afternoon. Whole website down, so no online booking, no one answering at Sites, and all you get on central booking system is some duff music, a long wait with an occasional reminder that “your call is important to us”, and then staff at other end cannot do anything. Diabolically bad service to Members, and must be so frustrating for the phone handlers and Site staff.
I feel a Takethedogalong email to the head honcho is in the offing. 😡

Well if it is not it shoudl have been fixed many weeks ago. It is more than a poor show, it has been diabolical today. Not only very frequent server errors but very slow to load pages to the extent my browser gives up trying to load pages

OH, so utterly appalling today !
Typical of this site that I have just done my accounts and notice that CAMC has taken my Club Membership Fees { By Direct Debit of course
} I think I must now cancel further extractions, or should I wait a while then take action for Robbery with malice afore thought.

The whole website, not just CT was down this afternoon, and Sites are not taking calls, although after listening to a 5 minute message, you might get a call back if they have time. I have no gripe with Site staff, they will be doing their best.
