I keep walking away DK, it’s just not worth the hassle at the moment. I was trying to check some Site details as well, but getting problems elsewhere than CT.

+1, I try-if I get the errors or the incessant buffering I leave it & walk. It’s just not worth the effort. Sitting stressing time & again is not good for the BP👍🏻

+2,  now i look in first thing in the morning whilst having coffee, check if there may be some useful information that might interest me, try to read and then move away and do something useful, no good stressing over server errors yell

Another here that checks and runs if there's erors/slow etc.

Can't believe the clubs feedback all round. Where I worked a sniff of this would have had questions asked, answers demanded and it would be checked on until it was right.... I think this speaks volumes for the clubs attitude. Its a public forum can be read by anyone and their reputation is being trashed.....

Same here just cannot get on at all, what is happening Rowena?  really would like some feedback. Is it the new booking procedures taking all the system and the rest not working well.

Now a member of CCC I have found their systems seem far more member friendly and staff very quick to answer any questionssurprised

Although it did take them best part of a year to get My bookings sorted out.😉 Although I do like the fact it also displays past bookings, where as they disappear on the CAMC version once you arrive.

Not had any problems making a booking though, which is more than can be said for this site, if I had wanted to make one this morning. It took me multiple attempts and many minutes just to log on. If the C&CC had a convenient site they would have got my business. More so when the CAMC starts charging deposits, there absence at the moment might  just about make the haste worthwhile.

The web site is working ok when not signed in, I can view all sections fairly easily although it's slow. As soon as I sign in everything grinds to a halt throughout the whole web site, not just the forum.

I have to say at this point I've always liked the forum design and format, when working it's a refreshing change from other types of more impersonal standardised set ups.

The search facility has never worked efficiently.

Just now I've struck lucky and could sign in and post. Let's see if my post appears in seconds rather than minutes or not at all! I haven't found it device specific, the variations occur across the board.

If any of this is due to a new build booking system I would accept the explanation and hope to see improvements. But there has been no explanation so sadly complaints will continue. Not being able to use the main parts of the web site is a big concern.

I appreciate Rowena has tried to initiate further contact and information over this problem.

These problems are nothing new. It is abundantly clear that CAMC have neither the will nor the skill to sort it.

Agree with your first paragraph brue, it is worse when you log in, that’s of course if you can log in🤷‍♀️ You are stumped for almost everything if the log in doesn’t work.

Hmm…… this reply posted instantly. But going back to Discussions (right hand side of page) it’s just buffers, and buffers…… So we try something else, and access recent activity (left hand side of page) which is usually very slow and error prone. But no, today, straight in🤷‍♀️ There is just no consistency to the faults to be honest. Now will this edit work🤔…..

I've reported, DK's, B2's and CY's posts with this comment.

"A critical post about a club system, can't have that can we?"

Doubt that it will make a h'penny 's worth of difference but one never knows. Perhaps it will result in me being banned!!

Forum was OK this morning - till I went to log in. Very slow, then got server error, refreshed screen and eventually got logged in. Some days the forum is very slow, but main site is OK

I gave up after 4 attempts yesterday, so whatever the root cause is it isn't consistent. Surely the problem affects the revenue of a C L if people are unable to use the site for search.

I have just e-mailed this via the complaints section in contact us link at bottom of home page:-

Is anybody monitoring the comments across numerous threads at present being made on the platform.
Access to some areas of the website is proving problematic and very slow to many members using a range of devices.
On Club Together and Discussions it is a frequent occurrence not to be able to access a thread and when you can it takes a long time to open. Upon attempting to add to a thread your post may not appear for several minutes, by which time you think it will not appear and then re-post.
This is what some have described as the shop window for the forum and does not look good.
Can we please have some action on getting the system to operate as it should be.

    Thank you - Colin

I couldn’t access the whole website last night. Buffer, buffer buffer all night long. ☹️ I went off and watched some glue dry instead……yep, really. Time better spent.

    Just now:

0.16 milliseconds my end to send request for 'Discussion' page

3.1 minutes waiting at CAMCs end

    1.5 milliseconds eventually to download

Your call is important to us - please continue to hold....

Then of course the final insult, they cut the call.

The website is the equivalent without the music and acknowledgement that you want to reach them......

Meth, I would think that type of info would be really useful to those who are working hard to resolve the issue🙂. I do so hope they are monitoring the factual posts.
