Iv'e just noticed on my a/c the pump-king website, that the unauthorised withdrawal or double dip as some are calling it, which previously showed up as an actual purchase ( even though it wasn't ) has now gone. Someone is doing something in the background so set everything straight.

talking of which, Rowena where are the results of the prize draw or are we having another delay so that Pumpking can catch up, or are you hoping the punters will forget about it ?

Well done you on the £13, I meant.

There's nothing elite about MHers, Rufs. We're all members of one club, remember?cool

I had a text dated 6th Jan 19 (yes this year!!) from MyEssoCard informing me that they "have now processed all the backlogged orders. This means if you are without your file card you will receive it in the next few days"

What a laugh! By my reconning it's now February and still no card. They're impossible to contact by phone or email and now I am trying to close my account on-line - their server isn't responding either.

The whole deal is a sham and, the sooner the club disassociates itself from this incompetent organisation, the better. Even the Club keeps moving this discussion around under different headings. What is going on?

The discussion hasn't moved, HP. I’ve been reading it here since the beginning. A few duplicate threads have been closed, though.

Perhaps your bank can help by issuing a new debit card if you want to safeguard your position. It’s what some others have done.

Well what a waste of time

applied for card early December, still not arrived.

I know-its not the clubs fault, but there are hundreds of us waiting for cards. What are you OUR CLUB,doing about this ?.?

it seems you have forgotten your roots, our preferred partners for spares and accessories, Prima leisure, are more expensive for most things I’ve looked at, then many others.

I love this club, but you are starting to let us down.

    Rant over

Well, I've had next weeks text confirming the prices available BUT this one has come from myessocard, whereas the last 2 weeks came from pump-king??

My question is are we dealing with myessocard or pump-king or whom?

I still can't log onto my account via myessocard but get text messages from them again?

Does it really matter, well yes, it just adds to the general confusionundecided

I'm pleased to say I've been successfully using my card the last few days.

Particularly as I still don't have a pin.

Neither. It's PK Fuels your contract is with. Everything else is just a website name. Very confusing

Have been reading the posts on here, had decided not to add more comments but I had a look at the FB pages concerning this and the club staff are spending a lot of time answering questions. It seems like a large deployment of time and effort.

When ever I look at the CMC Facebook page I can never find any posts as they seem to be removed at regular intervals, or am I missing something?

I found the details by looking back to the date the fuel promotion started, so the questions and responses are there but some may have ben edited? I'm not a FB user and I find the set up difficult to follow, maybe there is a time line somewhere?

Filled up successfully today, with no hiccups or double dipping this time... the secret to my success?? I filled up at Costco, and left my esso card (of which I still have an unexplained duplicate!) firmly tucked away in my pocket!

Prior to the massive apparent meltdown at Pump King, I was saving around £5 a fill up using the esso card.  The double charging that then occurred, and the issuing of multiple unrequested cards (if anyone is still waiting for theirs, I probably have it!), and the lack of response to multiple emails, has meant that I'll be leaving the card safely tucked away until if and when Pump King seem to have got their act together.

yes the till receipt is for whatever the pump price was, but you will be debited at the reduced price, you should get an email in a couple of days which will show nbr of ltrs at £1,335 = total, then you will see the total price broken down to show the vat element, takes approx 4/5 days to be debited from your bank account

keep the receipt then you can make comparison, have used my card 3 times now without problems, I know lots of people had lots of problems and club not exactly covered themselves in glory, but looks like you could make quite a saving, good luck

I'm a bit confused. The text that I received says "your price for the week of 03/02/19 is

    Diesel £1.239

    Unleaded £1.164

    Premium diesel £1.321

    Premium unleaded £1.223

Are different people getting different prices and different start dates?

I got the same text and prices as you John, but that text is for next week's prices which hasn't started yet rather than week of 28th which is the current / last weeks prices..

I have noticed that all previous texts referred to a price starting on a Monday.. the 3rd of Feb is tomorrow and a Sunday...

Thanks EasyT that does work and shows my account and which card I have linked to it.  No sign yet of my purchase from 25 Jan but I can wait and see.

For those wanting to cancel it is possible to delete your debit or credit card on that page.

Good idea John, but I think there may still be a copy of the Card number etc held by Pump-King from when people applied for the card cry

I've been getting the texts through with the so called prices. Ive ordered a card but there is no sign of the card so the texts are pointless.  Some are suggesting this is a scam?

I will be monitoring my bank account closely as I've read people have been billed twice even though I don't have a card.
