I wrote "as far as CAMC sites are concerned", David. Surely you've told us that you refused to pay whatever was required at Rookesbury last year, chose a CL and would "never again" use a CAMC site ( which is the subject of this thread! )

We stayed on this site on the 1st and 2nd of April and the power was still an issue, we were meant to be staying for 3 nights but left after 2, the weather didn’t help but we didn’t like the site, however I do agree that there should be compensation.

what was it I actually replied to you.....that it needed an incentive from cc to change perspectives, why would I use my (admittedly cheap) gas on a cc site where they've charged me a fiver for their (admittedly expensive) leccy.....
no wonder I said I was bored by the thread, even when I genuinely replied to your 'provocative' post, you don't bother to take note of what I said....

That's a bit rude, isn't it, PD. Are you saying that your "experience" gives you any more right to express an opinion than the rest of us? Seems to me the same could equally be said about "the same members spouting the same old rhetoric" about their views being the best and only sensible way to go.
It' a pity these differing views don't seem to be able to be expressed without insults flying, but there you are, that's life I suppose!

Does the same old rhetoric include the repeated calling for the metering of electricity I wonder?
