I too am unable to access the previous pages. I thought "they" had sorted out that recurring problem.
Birthday Greetings to Mrs WN 🍸🍸. There's no need to clean up for our visit, we never do for your's!!😄
Managed to get packed up in the dry, but ran into a very heavy downpour crossing Cheshire, but thankfully the sun came out before we got to site. We were able to set up in the dry on H/S but the site is flooded in places and Wellingtons are de rigueur!!😉

I think it stopped just after posts from me, WN and Francis. Mentioned searches for new cars, a get together for the WNs and Nellies and Mrs WNs birthday...hope everyone has a good time. I tried to edit my post on the missing page and nothing worked.
Glad it's back on track.

At last the day has arrived. In about an hour we’re heading off down the M6 to where my worn out and rather knackered husband will get a shiny new hip. These last few weeks have been very difficult as each day was worse than the one before. He stopped work on Friday and now with bag packed he’s ready for the off. We’re very lucky and grateful that our son and grandson are managing without him.

Is this the American Rocket launched from underneath an American Airliner by a UK tax dodger somewhere over the North Atlantic south west of Southern Ireland?

But the pilot's British and it's creating work locally🙂
They need to hope the weather improves by tonight.

Best wishes to him. At least he knows what to expect! Hopefully he won't be in hospital too long and once home he can look forward to getting back to normal.

Best wishes for both of you. I'll be thinking about you both.

There's a lot of uk based research aboard this project Micky, makes a change from tourism. By the way there are some companies in Cornwall that contribute to scientific developments already. https://spaceportcornwall.com/

Best wishes to your husband Goldie. Hopefully he will be home in a few days. Hope his recuperation goes well and that he is a good patient

Oh, no it’s not. See Brue's post.
The pilot flies the 747 with the rocket slung underneath.

But the rocket, which is the subject of the comment is unmanned! It’s an American rocket, American delivery plane and the actual launch zone is off Eire not in Cornish or British waters. To say this is an historic UK launch is stretching things just a tad wonderful though it might be!

Best wishes and hope all goes ok for your OH and his operation.
A very wet day here and yesterday, one of the chores today was to clean the cupboard under the kitchen sink and check there were no water leaks as I could smell a strange smell there but all ok and OH checked all water/drainage connections and all ok but now done and another chore was to shorten a couple pairs of OH's trousers his legs must be getting shorter ha ha. Tomorrow I will do some painting. Well we have struggled to find anywhere local for our Flu jabs but OH had a check on a Medical website today and found where we went for our 5th Booster last Friday does Flu jabs only for 30 minutes a day so have booked for next week, friends of ours have not even had their 4th jab yet and another set of friends will not bother with Covid or Flu jabs after having 3 Covid jabs each to their own.

It’s a rocket, not a space probe so it is unmanned as rockets are but the launch vehicle - the 747 - is piloted. It is a historic UK launch as it has never happened before on UK soil no matter who made the bits.🤷🏻♂️
