North Norfolk the same as you Triky, so more pottering in the garden and continue the fence painting.  If it brightens later in the day may go down the beach and watch the Sand Martins for a while.

Our plan for today is to visit the NT Batemans, Rudyard Kiplings home and garden. I've just renewed our NT membership through annual direct debit and received a free gift of a picnic blanket. So today is our opportunity to make use of it.

Very grey here again stiff breeze and chilly still no rain!

Very excited as we booked our next NZ trip flights yesterday and got sale price 😆😃😆. Our travel agent got another £40 ish of the Web price we'd found, also booked our seats included, again he got us good ones as he knows our likes! Sadly for us he's got promotion and is off to Ealing at the end of June so I guess we'll have to deal with him by phone or build up new relationship within the agency. We will be away 76 days 😆 this time, so IF we get a wedding date 😲😲 as they've suggested we'll be home a month or two before NZ crew come over, and if they don't set a date we've seen them any way 😆. Saving on the airfare about a quarter of the hire car cost - hubby just booked that. Daughter told eldest granddaughter We're booked and she's so excited - daughter says it's gong to be a long 7 months - I told her she's only 3 I'd have saved the info 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

Sadly I'm feeling wobbly again today despite taking pill last night and again this morning. Can't remember whether I posted it GP thinks I have viral labyrinthitis. Tomorrow I'll be entering week three of it and I'm now getting fed up 😢.

Off to do the ironing, at least that will keep my warm!  I won't be doing stripy shirts if there are any!!

Helenandtrevor I've only used my phone, that's where photos are.  Have to resize photo email to self then post resized one from email. 😲😲😲😲😲

I have a trip to NZ in 7 months ain't got time to waste!

You'll find that it's swallowed up your day - so do any important jobs before. If you're like me you won't let it beat you, and you haven't but I don't think I'll be doing it often if at all. Which means I'll have to start learning all over again.......

    Gotta get going

Hope it clears up soon B2.  I had a severe case of it 4 years ago, ended up in hospital, not ashamed to say it frighten me. After being discharged I stayed in bed for 6 days and didn't drive for 5 or 6 weeks. Hopefully I'll not suffer that again. I guess the funny side was when Mrs One fetched me home I still couldn't stand and a couple of neighbours came to her aid as they thought I had too many scoopslaughing

Oneputt that sounds awful. Touchwood nowhere near that bad. I had appointment with GP Friday anyway she gave prescription. It was because I was having wobbles, don't know what other words to use, whilst in bed that I got prescription filled. Not at all pleasant

Lovely photo Helen. I can only do it from laptop or PC as I have to edit, resize, save and then post.  I can't seem to do that on the tablet.  I must admit that I don't do it very often as it is very time consuming.

I do hope you feel better soon Bakers2.  I sounds most unpleasant.  How exciting that you have your next NZ trip booked.  Like you I would have saved the information until nearer the time for 3 year old grand-daughter.  When my cousin's son and his family lived in Chicago they didn't tell the children that Granny and Grandad were coming until a week or so before.  It will soon fly by though. Will you be there for Christmas?

Hope this works.  First time I have tried it on my new laptop.  This is my Peony which is braving the cold wind.

Millie lovely photo, I know what you mean about it being time consuming to resize and then post. When's your next caravan trip? We are hoping new van arrives before our June trip away now.😕😕

    Nice to see the photos!

Like Oneputt I was  completely knocked out (or over!) by a balance virus so I hope Bakers2 has the mild version. It can take a while to improve but it will go in the end. OH has an ongoing benign condition, severe at first and now occasional recurrences but Sea Legs tablets help, he has supplies stored just about everywhere. wink

Please to hear B2 has the NZ trip booked, hope you can relax now and look forward to it.

We have been travelling most of the day but got back to lovely sunny weather and eat our tea in the garden. Good to see the wind drop here, like Triky, but no boats in view!

We are off next weekend Helen.  We are going to The Norfolk Broads site for 6 nights. I bet the long awaited rain starts then!! I do hope you get good news of your new caravan soon.

A chilly and mostly grey day again here. It seems to be the turn of the west of the country to get the good weather this year.  I hope it lasts until we go to Wales in July.

Brought the van home from storage and cleaned inside and out. Started loading some of the essentials (well, the wine!) ready for our trip, starting on Tuesday. A one night stop at C&CC Wolverley to break the journey and then on to a CL near Clitheroe for 5 nights.Weather looking reasonable up to then. Who knows after that?

Watching a fascinating programme about Costa Rica on C4 at the moment, and just spotted Mrs M poring over holiday brochures - bit of a worrying coincidence, that! surprised

Millie, have a good time in Norfolk and Ian in the lovely lake district - which part are you in? And hope everyone else who's away has a good time too! smile

Nearly all of you are off somewhere! Hope you all have good holidays. We hope to get away at the end of the month, just before the holiday rush. This is when I mistakenly booked two holidays nearly back to back, we go north, then we go south! laughingembarassed
