We are first time caravan owners (having previously had MH's) and are planning a trip to the East of Scotland in May. I have just booked the ferries to and from Arran but having looked at some YouTube clips of the ferry from Lochranza I'm a bit concerned that getting on and off the ferry may be tricky with a caravan as the…
Hi all, I’ve just decided to get a bike in order to get some exercise, so I’d like to take it with me when we go away. I tow an Elddis Affinity (dealer special) with a Volvo XC60. Roof bars is obviously one option but I’m knocking on a bit, fairly short and the car roof is quite high so the risk of damage to car, bike or…
I don't know if other owners of Range Rover Evoques are aware, but you cannot use the Avtex or for that matter any other make of Sat Nav in these vehicles because the mesh that forms the heated windscreen blocks the signal. I spent some while on the phone to Avtex, Tom Tom, Garmin and Snooper yesterday and spoke to my…
Hi. My van is listed as 560 cm high. I am looking for a new porch awning and see most online are for a height of 230 to 250. I found with my last one it’s “stretched” at the bottom on the length of the van and looks a bit of a mess. Anyone got any recommendations or can help with one that would fit well? Thanks in…

I want to remove the aerial and just fit a blanking plate. But I can find no reference online to this aerial model or a possible blanking plate, and can't trace…
Has anyone used the COCO fuel card successfully? The Velocity 'eroute' app doesn't even list COCO, and this is supposed to be the go to place to find suppliers.

Hi, I'm completely new to this. I've been advised I need a waterline to connect a clean water supply from the serviced pitch to the caravan. The brand that's been suggested is the Truma Ultraflow but at about £90 it seems a lot for a hose pipe. Are there other brands I could use and save me a bob or two? Thanks
